What if TES had a lovechild with your (other) favorite RPG?

Chrono Trigger! Don't really know how that would work out but I'd love to see the end results...

A combination of ES with Omikron: The Nomad Soul would be my dream.

I started a few modding attempts with Morrowind, but didn't have the time/energy to see it through.

It's the worlds that I love - either Omikron, or KOTOR2, would be amazing to walk around sandbox-esque.

WOW... that would be quite the lovechild. I would love a Chrono Trigger remake, but I'm so used to seeing it in the Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball style, that I'm not sure it would work... But if they could apply cell shading to this creation engine...

Something with the open world and combat style of TES and the environment, story, and art style of Final fantasy 9 would be pretty awesome.

Pokescroll - Got to soul trap them all!

/Joke

The real one will be Vampire the Masquerade (lore) + The Elder Scrolls (mechanics/gameplay).

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines was simply too buggy and mission driven although it has excellent lore materials and really really cool powers if realized correctly.

:) I love Jeanette from Bloodlines though, if she was a vampire in Skyrim I would so be one, but I also agree with you Masquerade is still better overall.

Oh yeah on topic, my love child would be weird my favorite RPG is Persona 4, wouldn't mix well with Skyrim

Icewind Dale!

With a 1st person perspective in a fully realised D&D universe, this would have to have the greatest potential as an RPG. Real time combat with a party (of up to five other characters created by yourself) against classic creatures like kobolds and umberhulks. And with a weapon list including maces, spears, flails and whatnot along with D&D's extensive spell list + races/subraces the replayabitliy would be staggering. Perhaps a Fallout 3 style combat system would work better for spell selection, etc. especially for your party members. :hubbahubba:

That would be nice.

Not gonna happen though. :sadvaultboy:

Actually I have been dying for them to make a FPSRPG in Open World scale of DooM. Can easily be done there is more of a back story then people realize with alot of the books people have written for it.

A new iteration of Hexen would be nice, a much overlooked franchise considered to be Doom with swords. If Id treated it with the love and respect they did with Rage and throw in some free roam mechanics it could be the rebirth of a wonderfull game series that no one seemed to care about. But personally there will be so much to do in Skyrim, would you really care about anything else?.

Azeroth would be quite cool to wander in The Elder Scrolls style. I've actually had dreams like that, I think.

GTA V: Skyrim?
But seriously, some elements from the GTA/Red Dead Redemption games would be amazing. I'm thinking Euphoria, horse mechanics, camping, police/wanted system but keep in all the Elder Scrolls amazingness, combined this would be the most perfect game.
That said Skyrim is already looking perfect from what I've seen, so this is all a bit redundant.

The Elder Scrolls: Terranigma?

I do believe that may be the only thing in this world that could make me cry tears of joy. The story of that game combined with the gameplay of TES would be amazing.

Funny you should ask that...while impatiently waiting for Skyrim, lately I have been playing Tropico 3 which is new to me. So the othder night I dreamed I was levitating above a fantasy world I was building. Seeing it developing before my god-view was a pretty cool scene. So my answer would be Skypico (although I can't call Tropico 'my favorite RPG)?

No JRPGs, that's for sure. Don't need TES sullying all that is good about the genre. :whistling:

I guess BioWare (no specific game) x TES . BioWare's storytelling and gameplay with Bethesda's world design and lack of silly romances.
