Really though, it's hard for me to explain what I find attractive, since every guy I've dated has looked completely different from the last, and I thought they were all attractive...

Well, it is hilarious how desperate nerds will flock round you just because your avatar is a woman. One guy didn;t even care when I switche dto a male avatar, and then back again, as long as the avatar was female. I haven't been on since, the people in the shooters are much more sane.

It all works up from there though. Men like briasts, yeah, duh...but that also means we like nurturing women, a capable child-bearer, and in general the basic female archetype of being a companion. Women like muscles, yeah, duh...but that also means they like someone who can provide and protect a family, and in general the basic male archetype of being a leader.

By no means are these set in stone and what all women and all men everywhere like...but this is a very general, basic, and even primal view. It's easy to make the connection back to "caveman" times, hunter gatherers, and tribal societies which we all trace back to.

I think, also, the reason so many people think women like men with money is because in our modern society money and financial security have sort of become a different kind of "muscles".

You have described the basis for the whole entire problem of men and women getting together. Men don't Hint, so we are not programmed to pick up on hints. And, the things that we say that women think are hints are not hints. Women expecting Hints to be an effective form of communication are deluding themselves.

So, ladies, make our lives easier. When you do find us attractive, tell us. Don't hint, we won't get it. Ever.

Every time I see the question "what do women find attractive?" I find it pretty unattractive.


I imagine part of it is remnants to society's older Men>Women standards. It's only fairly recently that women are considered allowed to have opinions or make decisions, and I'm sure what they're taught growing up still has factors of "don't say anything, the man decides if it's a relationship" in it.

Bottom line is men are attractive. All of 'em. :wub:

If a woman strokes one leg with the other while sitting and talking to you, or touches her hair or face = go for it, she wants you. Hint explained. Most women use body language, some times it is unintentional. If a man is talking to us and we think he is attractive, we will subconsciously touch our hair. If we are looking at a man thinking he is sixy, and we are sitting, it is a subconscious thing to stroke one leg against the other. So keeping your eyes on body language clears up a lot of the mystery of "hinting."

The leader or "alpha" in a hunter gatherer band is someone who is given leadership not someone who physically intimidates. The same goes for dog packs (the species with whom we coevolved). The alpha male (or female aswell in the case of dogs) isn't the largest animal and doesn't go around physically intimidating the rest, the other dogs actively submit to the alpha. They choose to do it.
The dogs who do physically fight and compete with each other are competing over the middle rungs on the pecking order.

Basically there are two competing 'forces' at work in males. One is to be able to physically compete with other males for the social middle ground, this is the pressure for strongly masculine traits. The other is to be attractive to females (i.e. more "boyish"), and able to command trust from the males, and this gives the male a chance at the alpha role.

The leader of a hunter gather band looks like a politician or a rock star, not like a conan type.

I find intelligence and knowledge attractive. Also a sense of humor, but not to the point of being a constant "funny guy". That's just annoying.

That reminds me, why are women so vicious? Broad generalizations coming up, you've been warned. When a girl hates another girl, it's on a whole other level than when a guy hates another guy. It is pure hate, not "man I'd like to kick his ass" more like "I want to kill her". I have never seen two guys get in a fight that was more brutal than two girls. Hell, guys in a fight where bottles are smashed over heads aren't as brutal as girls. With girls I've seen eye gouging, hair pulling, repeatedly smashing her face into the pavement, bloody scratch marks on the face. It's insane.

Where have you gone for these cat fights? Hair pulling is not brutal. Most girls hair pull and slap for the fight - but afterwards, when we are stewing and brewing about that other girl and what she has done, that is when the real evil starts coming out...BUWAHAHA !!! - Just kidding.

By hair pulling I mean ending up with a fistful of hair not attached to the head anymore. This was at my highschool, parties and the bar. Granted, at parties and the bar there are always fights, but the women always seem to be crazier than the men.
