better VATS, larger worlds, more "dungeons like" areas, maybe a horse-like mutant to ride on like in oblivion :obliviongate: . oh and MORE GUNS!! :gun:

EDIT: an arena would be cool.

i myself would like to see that the hoover dam does exist, however i would like that the river behind it drained so that Posiedon Oil could get at the oil and uranium deposits in it, a settlement of ghouls is living in this dam now, they are there because raiders dont want them, steel hates them, and new reno doesnt want them near town, indeed they are there to guard the nuclear reactor in the dam that was placed before the war to power the mining machinery and Vegas. The ghouls have a sweet deal, and what do you do? do you alert steel about this, and have them seize both vegas and a nuclear reactor, so they can make a stand against NCR? do you give NCR power over new vegas? or do you incite battle by disguising as one of the raiders, brotherhood or NCR, and snooping around to make a fight break out. or do you sneak in, and overload the reactor and make the dam explode, and then create an energy shortage in Vegas, which will make war break out in the streets?

A hardcoe primary and secondary statistic build (Armor Class, Damage Threshold, Traits, Skill goes beyond 100%, Unique Damage Resistence for every single elements, etc. etc.) like FO and FO2, more and bring back FO2 weapons and bigger place to explore.

Companions/Followers that can jump over obstacles. It is annoying when my followers run an extra mile to get around a foot high rock.

No Enclave at all please, especially not as a major faction. Same with the BoS, hopefully.

I would really like to see more character customization as well as dwelling customization....sure we got to pick about 10,000 variations of facial hair but all of the character models to me, looked the same. Also, having those themes for our houses was cool, but it would be better if we had more options or mixing and matching....i know i could bring in everything myself but i'm talking about wall decorations and everything else as well.

enemies that can pop out of the ground and surprise you. an enemy that ambushes you can cause critical damage.

maybe being born a squire in the brotherhood, or a raider child.

Enclave would only be like more or less just a little team, or small settlement nowadays in the West. They all got blown up, on both coasts, so they don't have many personnel left from what I'd guess.

this.

And I'd like my followers not to go trigger happy over the smallest things, even though that probably won't be fixed (seriously though, it's annoying as hell when an enemy can't be reached and your follower won't leave the location because they're in combat mode; should be able to tell them to wait until you fire or something like that)

I wanna be able to take my fallout 3 character and all my items and exp from the capital wasteland to vegas, and back. All through out the games entirety. I have the xbox 360 version of fallout 3 + all DLC installed on my HDD so it wouldn't be that hard to make it work.

No story, just lots of dialogue with as many NPCs as possible that varies wildly depending on which special stats you abritrarily chose at the outset of the game.

Annoying world mechanics like radioactive rain, the need to eat and drink and sleep according to a strict schedule that shuts down gameplay and kills you unless you fulfill it.

Insurmountable enemies who appear at random and blow you away with no chance of survival. Undetectable traps that kill you if you don't have a certain skill high enough to ignore them. I want there to be a 50/50 shot of my not getting out of any place alive so it feels sufficiently challenging. No ammo of any kind for any gun lying around anywhere. I should be forced to buy it all and never recover any from any enemy or ammo dump so that I never have enough to kill anything without getting a 1% chance critical hit. No critical hits unless I pick a perk or trait at the beginning of the game with unforseeable results without any way of modifying or increasing abilities. I should have to traverse the entire map multiple times in order to do any one quest. Quests everywhere, with no other story at all. There should be an extremely limited number of areas for me to explore so that I never get sidetracked from a quest. I should also never be able to get a skill to 100% or maximize any stat no matter how long I play. and there should be a timed limit to the time I can play the game contingent on things I'm never told exist.

where's the fun in that? I'd like to play through the game through the beginning, not come in as basically a god. Some sort of thing like they have for ME2 could be made though.

We'd need a good explanation of how they'd get enough food to get fat :P. Seriously, they'd die from radiation before eating enough.

There was a fat guy in fallout 1 I think. But I'd still like varience in weight, fat or thin.

We have already seen fat characters in Fallout, three of which were especially of note. Two of these, Gizmo and Big Jesus Mordino, were wealthy mob bosses, which explains where they got so much food. Another, Vic, is a pretty well off merchant (until the incident with the slavers). And the only character from New Vegas that we have heard of in previous games was actually a fat mobster (mentioned by Tycho in Fallout 1).

And it's not as if people get fat only from eating much. Some are just naturally built that way.
