What other kinds of desert critters can you think of, Talon?

Something we haven't really seen yet are birds that attack you...swoop down on you, like buzzards.

I'm actually expecting some kind of fanatical desert tribe.

The more Dune references, the better.

Beetles. Giant mutant carnivorous beetles that put the giant ants from Fallout 2/3 to shame.

Ah, the memories...

I would like to see more creatures that are passive. (But of course keep all of the current baddies)

- more than one weapon per gun category (SMG, assault rifles, laser pistols, etc)
(eg. SMGs - only 10mm SMG; Magnum - Scoped magnum only... ) Perhaps SMG - P90s, MP5, 10mm SMG, etc... each with their own difference art & stat wise.
And by all means, to keep things simple, allow any SMG class weapon to be broken down in order to repair other SMGs

-Repair: in FO3, takes a whole weapon or armor to repair another. Can we break them down into a repair resource/commodity where you don't always need to use a full weapon to repair another. Just made no sense why it takes the whole gun to repair another. There's gotta be spare parts left over to be used later.

-Food & Drink: Food needs to heal you more. Perhaps Food = water in healing or something such that I would choose to consume irradiated food. Because in FO3, I'd rather sell the food and buy water if I can.

- Power armor needs to make you feel powerful. In FO3, power armor does not provide overly great protection or does it give you a sense of power. Perhaps when wearing power armor, you automatically are equipped with power-fists. It should feel more than just wearing a flack jacket or raider armor, but in FO3 it does not.

- bombs, grenades, explosives: There has to be more home made variants to such things. I understand it is typically military grade equipment, but if everything has gone to hell and back; I can guarantee someone has made makeshift bombs with household items.
Some suggestions( plastic explosives, claymore (shape charge), Glass jar + marbles + hand-grenade, propane canisters., Molotov cocktail, RC car + fusion battery
Side note, need a grenade launcher, R-P-G

And sincerely,
Dang I love this game!

more realistic mountain climbing, like havin a huge mountain and you have two hooks you clank into the mountain and climb up.
and fountains that actually work and sprays pretty water.
and those awesome monuments at los vegas like the spinx, the statue of liberty, the golden gate bridge..ect.

Customization, customization, customization. The more options for the player, the better and more immersed they'll feel. I think there should be game mechanics for creating your own traps and other objects. Customizable weapons would be a plus, as would more creatable weapons.

Creating armor would be a neat experience, as would being able to spruce up one's home. And having more control over how your character looks. Height and weight, bust size for females, whether the character is muscular or not, ect. I would kind of like to see a mechanic that tracks what and when the character has eaten and drank, as part of the survival experience, but I suppose that's getting a little too close to The Sims 3: Wasteland Adventure.

Since people didn't cotton onto aliens very well; how would y'all feel about ghosts in New Vegas?

Please, god no.

Also, I'd like to see a lot more weapons that the player can create. Every weapon should be customizable.

An ability to set traps other than frag mines?

Maybe, to make it more realistic, they should add a function that forces you to eat, drink and sleep or suffer grave consequences. Not so much worried about going to the bathroom, or showering, but yeah. That would be sweet.

So there can never be anything new at all? It's just super mutants and dudes in power armor kicking the crap out of each other for eternity?

There can be new things... that are at least slightly grounded in reality. Fallout may not be the most realistic series in the world but it doesn't deal with the supernatural.
