What do you want in New Vegas?

There can be new things... that are at least slightly grounded in reality. Fallout may not be the most realistic series in the world but it doesn't deal with the supernatural.

No just nuclear mutants.

Jobs, weapon customization and more creatures. And then there's a lot of other stuff...

Do you know the difference between Sci-fi and fantasy?

So there can never be anything new at all? It's just super mutants and dudes in power armor kicking the crap out of each other for eternity?

There was a meeting, weren't you there? It was decided that new things in Fallout are blasphemous. :P

New things can be added, but they usually fit the 50's theme and Fallout way, and ghosts fit neither.

Well, there was a ghost in Fallout 2 already, but even the developers consider it a big mistake.

There could be robots programmed to act like deceased entertainers such as Button Gwinnett in Fallout 3, but not ghosts.

I would love it if they would add stupidity back into the game.. Fallout 1 and 2 had some great lines if you made a stupid character... The whole game played completely different.
It was a really fun touch that I liked a lot and would like to see done again.. It makes complete sense that if you have an intelligence of 3 or less your just not going to be able to communicate
or think your way through situations.
I also hope they change the leveling system a bit. Slow it down or raise the xp cap.. I don't care... I think that was the biggest gripe in fallout 3.
I would also like to see some of the old skills put back in.. traps, steal, Doctor.. I'm betting Gambling will be put back in. I would also like the traits put back in and perks go back to every 3 levels or so..

I actually have every Fallout game except for Van Buran and Brotherhood of Steel. I've only ever played Fallout 3. Perhaps I should play 1, 2, and Tactics also?

Factions. Just like in Oblivion, how it has different guilds you can actually join. Thieves, Mages, Fighters, Assassins, etc....

And much more side quests then Fallout 3.

More weapons and dialogue options (Good, Bad)

More customization to our house/living place/mansion/etc.

Level up more then 20.

More content.

I hope there are lots of different voices. I'm sick of hearing fifty people talk with the same voice.

You thought the voices in Fallout 3 were repetitive? Go play Oblivion, then you'll be worshiping Fallout 3 for its variety in voice actors. :)

I hope you're also sick of paying around 50 dollars for a videogame.

Well yeah Oblivion is more annoying but after awhile Fallout 3's dialogue gets annoying, mainly just from the people who say "Hey", "Hi", "How you doing?", "Buh-bye!", etc.

CO - OP

I really really enjoyed F3 as a single player romp through a devastated world and seeing the many "oh wow that's sooo cool" things. Also having a buddy to act as a meat shield was great. In fact I still enjoy it, I now have 8 characters tramping around! Good, bad, armoured, mad max style, techy, mellee, gunfighter, heavy weapons killer, so many different ways to get along :D
But if they add one thing and one thing only it has to be co-op. NOTHING would be sweeter then getting pulverized by mutants with a pal and laughing about who had the best sudden or gory death. There are many ways you could be "respawned" to get around an ugly death. Cloning, another escapee from a vault then being restocked with gear by your pal who looted your body, just being respawned as a survivor in one of the settements with your old gear intact. There were soo many great moments in F3 that myself and my friends swapped stories about, so much better to actually have shared them! Co-op please auntie Beth CO-OP!

We need more of every type gun. Not just two automatic rifles, one sniper, one hunting rifle, etc.

Hehe, playing blackjack.

"Hit me."

"Are you sure, you might go over and lose 500 caps?"

"I SAID HIT ME!"

If you do get in over your head gambling, I want to be sold to the slavers and have to bust my way out.

That could end up being pretty cool.
