So I've seen more threads than I care to count asking about your favorite TES race, but I haven't heard much about the races you all hate with the burning passion of a thousand suns! So what's your least favorite race?

For me it's the Altmer... I've found them obnoxious, over-confident, and stuck-up, in every TES game I've played, and now this whole Thalmor thing just puts them over the top. Or under the bottom I suppose?...

Anyway, discuss away! What's your least favorite race and why?

In Skyrim? Altmer
Every other game? Bosmer

Mmm. I'd say overall Altmer. Some of them are okay though, but most of 'em are just... yea..

I don't like the Bosmer but I'm far from hating them.

Dark elves... and mudcrabs

in skyrim my least favourite race is the Imperials and also the Thalmour they should die Taolos is a great "God"

Most imperials like Talos too. It's just the Thalmor. And also, Thalmor isn't a race.

Mudcrabs as a playable race would be epic... Just kidding that would be weird but it would be an amusing mod!

elves save for orcs and bosmer... I even hate the dwemer they are so self important and insist upon themselves.

Never liked imperials. Boring and snooty.

Normally my favorites are Nords and Dunmer, but since I didn't like the look of the Dunmer in this one I made an Altmer and she's grown on me. Not all Altmer are stuck up. Nelacar is my favorite and he's quite nice.

It used to be Orcs, but they're awesome in Skyrim.
I got to say Altmer, never had fun playing as one.

Reason?

1. Thalmor = started by altmers. Altmer invades, Bosmer, now bosmer = thalmor. Thalmor = magic users. Dark elves = imperial spies + magic users + murderers. Orsimers = no place in the world + big ugly teeth. Maormers = who the f are they.... Dwemers = believes in logic and reasoning Gods, no good, no talos, evil, destroys the falmer race. Falmer = murderers
2. Magic users = causes oblivion crisis, Suspected Great Collapse, Thalmor
3. Magic users = weak in the view of a nord
4. Thalmor = murder human races, racist, wrecks the empire, elves
5. Elves = no talos
6. No talos = evil
7. Evil = magic users = thalmor = elves

1. Altmer, 2. Imperial's/Dunmer/Bosmer.

Of all the races, the two races I have NEVER played are Argonians and Redguards. They just don't appeal at all to me.

Probably Altmer. Each one seems to be born with a stick up their ass. Dunmer and Nords tie for second. I'm not a fan of hyper-nationalism, and these two display it in spades.

I'm not crazy about Orcs.

Argonians. I find them the least plausible race. I dunno if it`s just me, but everytime I see them (even now with them looking more realistic) I still can`t really believe them. Also I sometimes get freaked out by them when something comes walking to me with what looks like a crushed mudcrab on their neck and then my mind thinks, `Oh it`s a lizard person`. They`re pug-ugly. I`m surprised Mankind hasn`t tried wiping them out just because of how they look.

Also it don`t seem they should be in such a cold region without being wrapped up like an eskimo.

The Khajitts don`t bother me at all, even though they`re probably as implausible.

Argonian and khajiit are tied for last place on my list. Beast races in any game have never appealed to me.

Altmer

For playing? Argonians
In the world? Bosmer always were annoying. But Skyrim fixed them right up. Altmer always pissed me off, they did so in Morrowind, Oblivion and now in Skyrim but not all of them are bad either... Actually I think there's not one race I really dislike.

Argonians - they are just ugly reptiles

Yeah, me too. I mean they were arrogant before, but they outdid themselves.
That said I don't dislike all of them, some are quite nice.
