Where would you like to call "home"

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 8:01 pm

"Make a living" ? As in, you want a rent payment system established for housing? Jobs in the game too?

Yes. Role play to the fullest. Not everybody in the wastes is a hero. It's as much as roleplay as selling your body for caps which some have suggested.

Ability to just lay claim to anyone's house you want. Although the neighbors might not appreciate it, it's how it would work in reality. Being able to hire/enslave servants/followers would also be rather nice, so long as they do something other than just stand around eating your food.

"...In a DC Hellhole!! This is Three Dog Bow-Wow!"

Would be nice to hear three dog if you're close enough to the edge. :)

My first choice! If we are lucky, you can shoot muties while riding the coaster on the top!

More realistically though, id'e like to see a return of the Highwayman. In addition to driving it, I would make my home in the back seat.

I would like to have my own casino with my house at the top floor, you should only be able to get there by the elevator, also i would have my own mafia, with people in the fallout 2 new reno style (these big guys with the tommy guns, hats and wearing the uniform).

If modding is possible, then I'll do what I did for Fallout 3. Build my own house. I used a run down shack outside springvale (Can be found in my sig for any homeless wastelanders). I think I captured the wasteland scavenger feel pretty well with it, and that's what I want in NV as well.

I'm hoping there will be no home. Instead I'm hoping we'll find an abandoned, but still working vehicle (Jeep!) somewhere that will act as sort of a mobile home.

Ok, it wouldn't even have to be working. I could think of a rather nice quest line involving trying to get a vehicle to work :P

YEah i think it would be cool to build your own little house like be able to find metal and wood and stuff like that and bring it back to your own little base camp

Or some kinda APC (armored personal carrier) that would be like a moble home that you could run Raiders over with

I'd like to live in the homes of people I have killed. It's the Wastes, pretty much the wild west, so I should be able to do that if I want.

In a casino vault of a collapsed casino, enter able through the sewers, and you find the bodies of people who were breaking into it, but got into a shootout.

+1

If they gave us a room in one of the casinos or hotel, there will be boards over the windows, or closed raggedy curtains. And when that happens, they should at least have a balcony to go out and watch the city.

Looking at New Vegas would be great but then if you have a view you can get shot at, oh well, it would be cool to have a suite real high up and have a balcony, the view would be incredible (probably).
