Belief. I cannot stand the thought of resurrecting the dead to do your bidding... Just a terrible thought to think about..

Most of them deserve it, anyway.

The bodies of those that died should be laid to rest and never be used for personal gain.

They may have deserved death but they do not deserve such disrespect.

The bodies of those that died should be laid to rest and never be used for personal gain... unless the personal gain is hugely profitable.

Fixed that for ya. :D

You're talking to a dude that killed a couple on their wedding day via a rage spell and the couple's own family. If it's awesome, I use it.

You're talking to someone who will kill people if the reason is agree-able on.. (I'm in the Dark Brotherhood and I love being in it) but I wont show such disrespect to those who've fallen.

i first chose the crown but then i found out you lose the effect if you take it off so i went with the shield cuz its pretty

Major dissapointment that renders the crown almost useless. Really was not expecting this as I use headgear for so many other reasons, and need the two stone benefit to be permanent.

Staff seems the better choice now just for novelty value.

By the time you are level 81, these stones aren't truly useful. I was talking about being a level 81 char, since I was talking to someone with a level 81 char.

What are you talking about? At level 81 the only things that can possibly hurt you are dragons. By doing this order:
1. Vampire
2. Necromage Perk (Resto tree)
3. Atronach Perk (Alteration tree)
4. Atronach Stone.

You end up with 100% spell absorption. Nothing magic based, (like dragon breath) can hurt you.

Men are respectable only as they respect. I owe only apathy to those that fall.

I foresee myself wearing a gaudy crown, it would seem.

You also end up absorbing 100% of summons and perks like Shadow Warrior and Quick Reflexes. And with 80% Magic resist and armor cap you barely take damage anyway.

i was tempted to go with the shield but since I like to shield bash people it would have ended up prolonging a lot of fights so I went with the crown

I went with the crown. I would have loved to be able to make a whole set of armor out of it, but alas, we were not given that option.

Was a tough choice for me, the crown is obviously strong but I was drawn to the shield(I always liked the dwarven items) but after some thought I figured I would rarely actually need to turn an enemy into a ghost for 15 sec. I ended up taking the staff A: because I collect good staves, and B: because summoning a sphere is sick.

I choose the Aetherium Staff partially for the nostalgia of course with the dwarven sphere summon. Really though I think the best application for the staff is actually blacksmithing, you pretty much have an unlimited supply of dwarven scrap metal which you can smelt into dwarven ingots.

It's a nice artifact, looks cool and boasts a unique effect.

Took the crown on most of my characters for the lady and lord stones to boost my character. On one I'm at the forge and plan on taking the shield for sheld bashing
