Who remembers the hype from last year?

Notch?

He stopped running it a few months ago. Now Jeb is running it. He's even better then Notch.
Seriously? We haven't had a single update for a LONG time now. Minecraft feels pretty dead now.

Yeah, but what I'm saying is that the game isn't getting anything from the developers themselves.

ANYWAY, I find it best to keep ourselves on-topic - The massive hype from last year.

Bethesda is one of the few game companies out there that still have 'integrity'.

Oh, so the creation kit coming out in February instead of January constitutes a "lie"?

That's the level of "constructive criticism" of the forum. It's no wonder the devs don't come here.

Yeah, that's petty.

No I'm not. There were many features that were in Morrowind that people constantly complained that they weren't in Oblivion, and possibly the only one they brought back is enchanting.
They changed a lot of things from Oblivion to Skyrim, and have been responding to fan requests even since Skyrim's release. When Todd Howard talks, you can actually believe they're listening to people. Maybe you weren't around for the DA2 fiasco, but every time Bioware devs open their mouths it's like "what planet are you on." They change things because EA wants them to, Bethesda still listen to its fans.

I consider DA2 to be misinterpreting what fans wanted rather than not listening to them,

It lived up to the hype for me, the bugs or lack of stats or less magic types didn't effect me, it was freaken skyrim, the land I been waiting for since I played it in arena, and I finally got it, it will always be my favorite no matter what!

I can't say it's still my favorite, but that phrase "It's freaking Skyrim" will always make me smile.

They didn't tell us that it would be a shameful sellout to instant gratification seeking brandead console gamers. It's a hollow shell of a TES game. We got awesome, epic graphics but we paid for it with dumber quests, dumber factions, dumber magic, spell creation and weapon/armour degredation.
