Why doesn't Todd Howard spend some time answering a few ques

That's because the guys at Bioware don't recieve verbal assault because they "didn't include spears" or some other [censored].
That's because they would have added some [censored] spears you [censored]

He would answer that they did not move away from the PC fans but they widened to consoles so that more people could enjoy the wonders of gaming in the TES world. He would say that they made all quests to the best of their abilities. And he would say that they did test all character levels and they found it to be balanced. I ten hope he would also inform you that although you and a handful of people may think a certain thing about a certain game, that does not make your opinion the only right and true one. I hope he would say that the vast majority of people do enjoy the game very much, and that although there may be a few minor flaws, the game is still very playable and enjoyable and that nobody forced you or tricked you into buying the game.

I really wish he would. I wish he would come on one time and own our questions in the face.
Seriously, better than him not give half a dump about them.

Thanks.
Questions in the OP are just silly representations of actual questions that people really have. I'm sorry you didn't get the memo.

Seriously... there are plenty of us on here that have honest, valid questions. Why doesn't he just get on the forums and answer questions for a few hours or something.

And I'm not just talking about generic questions that are rigged from the beginning to be answered in a positive, misleading way. I'm talking about from-the-heart honest-to-goodness legit questions. Like "Why did you decide to break away from your PC fan base?" or "What made you think that such-and-such quest line was acceptable in length and dynamics?" or "Why didn't you guys actually level a character to find out that [subject] isn't balanced at all?"

et cetera

Thousands of questions, no Todd Howard? Why?
Your best bet is to try to arrange another Fan Interview.

They have customer support though!
It's clearly labeled under CUSTOMER SUPPORT on their Website.
These forums are not their customer support area. Even the bugs forum as you can see is filled with rage posts rather than actual bug reporting.

I wasn't referring to actual one on one interactions of a technical nature, but rather general community interaction.

What do I mean by "general community interaction"?

I can only assume that you only frequent Bethesda message boards, and your inability to comprehend what "general community interaction" constitutes should not be a surprise I suppose.

I just want to clarify... I'm not trying to flame Todd, or even troll him. In fact, he's a lovable Director. Which is why he's so effin dangerous. He says things that make me throw money at the screen.

And when they aren't true it makes me eat chocolate ice cream, throw up, cry, and listen to Dear Diary by Britney Spears.

I just want him to answer some nice questions one time ever. Just a few. Just to let us know, hey, we really matter, and it's not just about their initial sales profit.
But it is. And it's apparent.

They're not questions; they're accusations. They're the very reason you won't see the devs in here. There is no acceptable response to the question, "Why did you abandon PC gamers?" First, it presumes that they did (which I'm sure they don't feel they have), and second, there's no answer that would make unhappy PC gamers say, "Oh, Okay, that's cool then". It's an illegitimate question. It's nothing more than a complaint disguised as a question.

they answer questions they just dont do forums anymore. If you have an impotant question ask them through twitter if the answer isnt on their blog. Trolls in forums have made it impossible to get your question across to Developers or even PR.

Because the answer to those questions would require him to give extensive courses in game design and project management. I don't think Bethesda wants to double as a University.

Lol probably this.

Daggerfall owns all and you know it. If I could have that one-on-one with Todd, as one of you haters interpreted my OP to be, I'd probably ask how in the hell, after being there for a short time during Daggerfall, he ween himself off of the beautiful amount of content and RPG value. Something along those lines. I know his answers on the size and what not, and that's fine. Just the content. Why go 120mph in reverse here?

He goes 120mph in reverse because it makes the odometer go backwards, easyer to sell with fewer miles :celebration:
