Apples aren't better than oranges although I prefer apples myself
So do I, oranges are tougher to peel. :whistling:
Anyway, i play both Zelda and TES games, and... it's really a different genre. Zelda games are really enjoyable to play, but as far as the story goes, it's pretty much the same in every single game. Go to forest/fire/water/random temple, kill badguys, get items, defeat final boss, good game. It's just enjoyable, but it's really a matter of taste. A TES game is on an entirely different level, with more quests, stories, items and more choices, both moral and immoral. It's really not that easy to compare the two games just because they are games.
I could be wrong, but it might be because Zelda works and Skyrim doesn't.
I think most of my comment sufficed as to why Zelda games are easier to debug than Tes games, but just for those naysayers about bugs.
Taking a game like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Erasing the 2 and putting a 3 does not make it a new game. Changing the entire world, voice actors, music, art style, special abilities, skills, cities, makes a new game. Zelda is somewhere in between, it has the same story, items and whatnot in it's core, but still manages to be enjoyable in the way the story is told, and the new gimmicks always draw Zelda gamers back to buy the new game.
Personally, i prefer the hand-held versions of the Zelda games, on the DS. The cell-shaded graphics don't age and the games look and feel like a unique adventure.
