Unless they start to seriously butcher the lore or the gameplay so its not even recognizable you can pretty much write me up for the next one.

I do not like the Fallout series, which is why I have a problem with all the Fallout 3 crap they put in Skyrim.

The only Bethesda game I would buy is another TES game. However, with all the bugs and flaws in Skyrim and as long as Todd Howard is still running things I'm going to have to think twice before buying another TES game.

They haven't learned a damn thing from the failures of Oblivion and have furthered the "Dumbing Down" process of Skyrim. I have no faith they will learn from the failures in Skyrim.

So to answer the question, I can't say I will. It will depend on what happens when they announce TES VI.

Enjoyed their Fallout series games immensly
Currently Enjoying Skyrim immensly

Haven't really run into bugs in Skyrim yet...and I've been having tons of fun playing.
Obviously I won't buy their next game based solely on my past experiences. It depends on the game they release, but my past experiences give me no reason not to seriously consider buying their future games.

Im a PC gamer, I have a hard time buying crappy console ports. This is a problem because 90% of the games made are crappy console ports. Here is where any intelligent developer comes in...Maybe instead of making their own game engine in house they get a license to use and engine of a developer that does just that, make game engines. Especially a game like TES, they are very involved so why ass another step to the game making process. Start with something like unigine for example, it has amazing scalability and can run DX9 10 and 11. Beth missed a great opportunity to make a better game (because they could have wasted less time building an engine) and they missed a great opportunity to make a game that looked as amazing as it played.

So given a lot of these well known devs will never do anything smart I would have settled for a game which was given its own UI, the skyrim UI is the most disgusting thing Ive seen to date on PC. Hopefully the next patch will fix the pathetic shadows and lighting...

I probably won't get the next game unless the issues are adressed.

I hadn't planned on a Day 1 purchase of Skyrim because Oblivion was a letdown (albeit a 300+ hour 'letdown'), but through an accident of good timing I did.

The game crashed on startup due to Windows sound settings. The workaround was easy but required some research.

Then the numpad keys were 'reserved', which led to a time consuming workaround (autohotkey) that didn't work very well. After a period of frustration, some helpful modder remapped the control keys, and eventually Bethesda patched the problem away.

Then the frequent crashes, fixed by ticking the LAA flag. Then a patch which broke it. Then another fix.

Thus, when the next TES game arrives I would prefer to wait for a couple of patches, and if I wait that long I might as well wait for a sale. The only thing that will change my decision would be a nice deal (~$40) before the game is released.

I built my first PC to play Arena and have been hooked ever since. If its TES or Fallout then I won't even have to think about it - Hell Yes!

Nearly 100% yes.

FO:NV and Skyrim have been the least buggy and most playable games on release (for me) that BGS have done. Overall, Skyrim is one of my favorite BGS games, and even though I don't like the trend in BGS design evolution, their games continue to be an instant buy for me.

Then again I liked Dragon Age a lot, thought DA2 would be an insta-buy, read some developer interviews, and got a cold feeling. As the release approached I heard more and decided I'd wait. I'll never buy that game now. I don't expect BGS to pull a Bioware, but if I see big red flags coming from the devs before release, it's possible that I'd delay purchase.

Yeah, probably...
I love their games...

And I'm not worried about the bugs... They will be fixed eventually...
I couldn't find any game-breaking bug... And I'm +100 hours logged in in only 1 character...
So I'm pretty satisfied...

If magic is gutted in future games any more than it is in Skyrim I may have to pass.

I won't buy a game intermediately when it is released next time, I should have known better.. they are type of games you buy when its on sale 6 to 8 months after release.

If you're talking about the next Fallout or the next Elder Scrolls, then definitely yes. If it's any Bethesda game, then I have no idea yet.

I love Bethesda's games. They have some amazingly creative people who make the games I love to play. I understand there are going to be technical problems with a game so huge and I don't want the size of the games or the open world aspect to change. I don't understand the technical problems and it may be that Bethesda needs to beef-up their technical staff or keep working on their engine in cooperation with all of the console manufacturers, I don't know. They do need to work on the problems in a very robust way though. It can't be fun to see all the criticism and/or bad press. It can't be fun to have mistakes made in patches; that's got to be embarrassing. I love 'em madly but I want to see these things addressed so I don't have to worry about buying a copy of a game for my PS3. I still think Skyrim is an awesome game and I love Oblivion and the Fallout games....more, please and thank you, Bethesda.

My collector's edition has already paid for itself in terms of length of entertainment. Good value. I'll buy another Elder Scrolls in a heartbeat.

The next Fallout? Sure, but only because I'd be curious to see what direction they'd go in with the East coast and the West Coast is absolute gold; I'd buy the west coast either because I'd expect it to be amazing if Obsidian made it, or I'd want to see what Bethesda did if they went there.

TES? To be honest, I don't like what I've seen from Skyrim. I'm at that point where I will buy the next TES probably, but it's one of those last chance situations. Fallout 3 just absolutely pales in comparison to New Vegas; Obsidian made Bethesda look bad in the writing, weapon balancing and character customization categories. Then Skyrim comes out after New Vegas, I thought "maybe they've improved even more than New Vegas did from FO3," but in all honesty, I actually think Skyrim went backwards from Fallout 3. I'll buy the next TES (if I don't get the next Bethesda-Fallout beforehand and it doesn't svck; if the next title they release is FO4 and it svcks, I probably wouldn't bother with TES 6), but it'd really be more to see if I think the series is worth continuing with or not.

"The only thing that would ever keep me from buying an Elder Scrolls game on release day, is if they start shrinking the development time to put out more games more often, like CoD, Madden NFL/ FIFA and that kind of crap."-The darkest hours

Im a die hard bethesda fan. There my favorite company but if they do this i will lose a huge deal of respect for them
