Yes, I remember some grandparents even chiming in on the parenting thread.

Myself, I won't be 30 for a few more months... so I'm spending the waning days of my 20's deep in Skyrim.

Definitely. There was a great thread one Sunday morning and all kinds of people came out to say hello. :) Many were older than the subject line of this thread.

I was born in the summer of 1971, which would make me the big four oh.

I turn 17 in a week or so. Luckily the college is closed that day because of Martin Luther King Jr's Day.

I'm with Mogrus. 1971 was my year, too. I got my wife hooked on Oblivion, and she's also the same age as me.

I hope to be playing video games when I'm well over 40. I have a person on my friends list who is 75. Only plays war games, though, so no Skyrim.

I turned 45 a month ago. My first video game was Pong. Skyrim is better.

With M rated titles it's the norm for the 30+ crowd to outweight the teens and twenty-somethings in the fan base. There are plenty of forum members in their 50s and 60s here, and a smattering above that.

Old fart checking in. Just turned 39 recently, and whilst I don't get anywhere near the time for gaming I had in my dim and distant youth, I'll always make a little time for these kind of games. Fortunately my other half likes the games so she doesn't complain (except when I hog the playtime).

I was thirty once. I've got over twenty years more, soon to be 56.

My late mother played 'video games' on her computer and she was in her seventies.

Two of three kids play Oblivion and Skyrim. Only one kid plays Morrowind.

Yep, when people tell me I'm too old to be playing them I tell them 2 things:

1) Take a walk down a video game aisle and see how many are rated "M".

2) Well, since I'm the 1st generation to grow up (use that term loosely  ) playing video games and I still am then I guess they aren't just for kids.
