Are there any Skyrim players that are aged thirty and older on here???(male and female).

People often mistake me for 18.

Just act young I guess.

Actually, no wait- I am 18... maybe.

Nice to see some older ones here.

As my wife says "im a young man in a old mans body"

She is kinda right because im 38 yet i feel in my 20's. Word or warning to the youngies on here. THERE WILL BE DAYS WHEN YOU FEEL YOU ARE IN YOUR 60's

Hopefully you will have more young days than old though like me

UnionK

I did say I would turn 35 this year.
Of course my real age, depending on my mood and how I slept varies from 4 to 157.
Your wife has no idea, men do not change, they just are more or less grumpy.
Stay 20, and possibly even younger. Youll live longer

I honestly was a little shocked to see this question as a topic. I thought most of us are over 30 or late 20's. There is no way the over 30's are the minority. Every single serious gamer I know is at least 25. Maybe I wrong. I know there are a ton of teens and early twenties but what is the dominating age group.

I'm smelling a poll here. I have no clue how to start one from my phone and I have no computer at the moment buy I'm very interested to see the age groups. Can someone please make a poll. Thanks.

I was born a couple months before the JFK assassination. Started playing video games with the original “pong”. Stopped playing video games in my late 20's (though I did keep playing board games, Magic the Gathering, chess and poker) just took them back up about 4 years ago. Playing non-linear RPG's for the most part, with a smattering of strategy and sports games thrown in. I've spent a ton of money on video games that I quickly lose interest in. The Oblivion and Fallout games have spoiled me.

Just started playing Skyrim about 10 days ago and I'm “hooked” again. I would've done a few things different with this game, but all-in-all it's a great game.

Currently playing a Bosmer character named El'Aliron (green shadow-walker), ya, ya, I know, nothing too original about a stealthy archer, but I'm having fun. Just reached level 22, taking my time, and savoring every moment.

If that`s the case, then I`m sure Bethesda would`ve made Skyrim a little less childish. I reckon Bethesda thinks most gamers are teenagers too.

im 38 yet i feel in my 20's.

Wish I could say the same. I'm 40 and I feel like in my 70's. Especially when I have to bend down to pick something up.

Also, sometimes having six is like trying to shoot pool with a rope.

I hate to butt in. But you need to exercise and \or smoke less. You can quite easily get into your 40`s and still feel 25.

I know for a fact. :)

that said I have a friend same age who talks the same.

Be positive, m8! POSITIVITE! lol.

A small tip:
Take up swimming.
It really is the best excercise imaginable. You dont for nothing see old coots swimming laps.
Now me, Im not an old coot.
I dont even know how grey I am.
Been dying my hair since I was 18.

I appreciate the tip, but I always encounter difficulty lighting my cigarettes whenever I'm in the water, so I'll pass.

Sir, I am a smoker too.
(do you know the great song by K's choice called 'I smoke a lot' ?

Youre not a smoker unless you can smoke under the shower, sure, but in the actual pool?
Hm.
I do enjoy those tropical pools that simulate tides and you go wheee!

Turned 48 yesterday. Also, I haven't gotten him hooked on Skyrim (yet) but I turned my 72 year old father on to Fallout 3 and New Vegas and he's been totally hooked on both!

47 here - saw and played Pong before it was finished (a guy in my neighborhood was making a cabinet for it). Hung around arcades when that's all there was, even worked in one for a minute. I reallygot hooked on videogames when I was interning as a video game artist. First "real" game I was obsessed with was Landstalker (although I played others, Landstalker got me hooked on RPGs and it's been that way ever since...).

Next to crazy monkey six, swimming is the next best exercise. I hike with a load often and canoe when possible. When you hit your 40's you have to defend against atrophy. A "young-at-heart" attitude while doing all you can to cling to a child-like wonder will do scads for your disposition.

Even if I weren't a smoker, I still wouldn't risk swimming as I've read somewhere that a person's chance of drowning in a swimming pool is exceptionally high when he/she is drunk. Way too risky.

Now, if someone could kindly tell me where I can get myself a crazy monkey to have six with, I'm all ears.

Almost 41. Started out on Pong and Space Invaders arcade. I had the original Atari, a Timex Sinclair, and programmed Joust on a TRS-80. I played Karateka and Oregon Trail on the Apple II. I played the hell out of D&D Pool of Radiance on the C128. I also played a lot of D&D, and I still have the original DM's Guide. I got a kick out of the Falmer statue quest. Someone pointed out that it's almost certainly an homage to the cover art of the original D&D Player's Handbook.
