32, tall, physically fit and reasonably attractive (just being honest, I’m actually quite humble and despise arrogance and vanity). Used to work doing coding and software support for a Biotech company before I was helpfully laid off.

At the moment I live alone playing Skyrim in a cabin in the woods of southern Oregon, because an ignorant religious cult amputated my sixuality as an infant and I can’t bring myself to seek love again, when all it does is drain my power and confidence and burden my partners with negative energy.

But Skyrim is awesome, modding is a rewarding hobby, and there’s more to life than six. There’s also more to be concerned about. Like our defenselessness against said biotechnology. If people only knew…

Sometimes humans remind me of the Stormcloaks. Convinced if they just ignore the problems that are too scary for them to cope with, they’ll somehow leave them alone and go away so they can get back to potato farming.

I fear for our future. But I’m trying to enjoy what’s left of the ride.

You need a hug. * Hugs :hugs:

It's easier to find some of us older players (nearing sixty, here) if you stay out of the "who's the hottest female?" type threads.

Well, 68 here and one who just enjoys playing the games. Nostalgia isn't the only reason some of us oldies are playing.

i think its so cool that mature folks have such awesome taste in games. when did you start gaming generally and when/how did you discover TES?

In the 30s here, played all TES games extensively except for Oblivion, which thusfar only managed to collect dust on my shelf.

Yep. 46 here.

Played Arena back in the day.

Still play and own a copy of Daggerfall.

Still play Morrowind.

Still play Oblivion.

Playing Skyrim currently with my son on my PC.

They all have a flavor that compares to no other open world crpg I have played.

I guess its guys who remeber the old Morrowind and search for a semblance of that in Skyrim?

Nope. It's just guys (and gals) who like games :)

Yup, 35 and definitely not ashamed of it either. Still feel like a kid at heart, but don't we all?. Then we look in the mirror and get the shock of our lives! lol.

I'm 40. Been playing video games since 1st gen Atari, my first "real" computer RPG was an Apple II with Wizardry: The Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord... I'm old enough into this hobby to have also played Zork, Planetfall, and too many others to remember. My first TES game was Arena, and I have played every single one since. I am capable of being very, very nerdy when provoked. :)
