All confirmed weapons(updated)

Actually, I know for a fact that they are in. If one were to go to NMA, "theoretically" there would be an article that looks exactly like the one in GameInformer that has a picture of the PC fighting two Legion soldiers, one of which has a Power Fist on. I say it this way because mentioning you-know-whats is forbidden :ninja: .

Nate, I don't not have not the faintest idea of what you're not talking about never. Not know what I don't mean?

At 1:08 there's a powerfist on one of them doing push-ups.

And so, Fallout becomes that much more Call of Duty. Do we really need a Desert Eagle, an M4-or-M16, and a .50 BMG rifle in every game with firearms?

im just happy the M1 made it in, finally a decent semi auto rifle, even if there's no 30.06 ammo for it. does anyone know what it will use, .308 perhaps??

Yup, It's the law. Rememver kids, only you can help fight boring gun lists.

It is the most logical. It is the closest to a full size battle rifle round that we know is in the game and has similar performance to the .30-06, except at longer ranges.

And AGAIN, why does this make fallout into COD?

I agree with gabriel77dan. If anything this adds more diversity to the game. Lets face it, in the fallout universe some guy would have come up with these guns. Sure it may not look exactly like the one in real life but it is bound to happen. For example, look at the 10mm in fallout 3 and you will find that it looks very similar to the desert eagle. The same can be said about the fo3 assault rifle. The rifle looks identicle to the G3. These simularities help the player feel more familiar with the game.

You know Fallout did it first, right? Just because something shows up in another game doesn't mean we can't enjoy it anymore. What we should really be worried about is an ACR sneaking its way into our beloved franchise.

I agree Gabe (or is it Dan?) I will never understand how the words Call of Duty have become an invective. What do those people want? No modern weapons? Swords and bows aren't modern weapons. Perhaps you would prefer Oblivion. Or maybe Fallout:New World where we play as european explorers and use blunderbusses and Matchlocks? How about Fallout:New 100 Years War and we fight with 6 pounder Napoleon cannons and flintlocks? I guess we could always throw rocks........

I agree. I would definitely be shocked to see a p90 or a corner shot in the game. Although it may be possible that some wasteland scientist figured out the uses of polymers in firearms.

Polymers were already in use. Some of the Erma MP-40s that were in wide use by the Germans in WWII used bakelite (polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride) funriture. Use of plastics on firearms in no way breaks canon, in any sense of the word.

PS (P-90 was in FO2)

Thanks for the info. I'm not as knowledgeable of the fallout universe as most people on here. In other words I am a fallout 3 noob. I haven't seen firearms with polymer frames in fallout.

Plasma rifle hasn't been confirmed though.
I saw a screenshot from NV with it in and I asked for it to be on the wikia's list but apparently it was a placeholder or something.
So it isn't entirely confirmed whether it's in or not.

Gabe or is it Dan?

It's Mr Fish actually.

Well, then Mr. Fish it is. And since we're being so formal, and I am descended from ancient Norse Royalty (Ur the clanking) you may simply call me Your Highness.

OT: I had not seen either the Laser Pistol not a slick Plasma Rifle back when I was lookin for thie stuff. Maybe there's been some seen since then.

And, oh yeah, AMMO UP!

The laser pistol was actually confirmed by a preview. The guy stole one from Mitchell's house. As for the plasma rifle, all that's been confirmed is the Multiplas Rifle. Personally, I don't believe it's a
shotgun since the name is rifle
and
There didn't seem to be any spread in the gameplay videos.

Yes. I recall that preview. Doc's house is supposedly filled with all kinds of handy crap we can apparently take for free.

And agreed on the multi-plas. Looks like a burst or full auto to me more than a shot-gun blast style?
