the weapons not as cool as i thought it would be though.
i will probbably use the bolt action rifle. or the garand

Ain't a confirmed weapon.

Hope they put it in the game anyway.
Was a fun gimmick.

THIS! I hope all the home made weapons are in there with schematics and everything that were in FO3. I always made finding all the schematics an unwritten quest for myself and it was a lot of fun running all over the entire map collecting them. Also, the weapons were a great source of $$$ early on when you need it. If they're not actually in the game, hopefully the base resources are still in the items so they can be modded in (crosses fingers). If not, I'll miss the Shiskebab the most. Nothing quite like hacking up a ghoul with a flaming sword made from a lawn mower blade!

As for the plasma rifle, all that's been confirmed is the Multiplas Rifle.
Personally, I don't believe it's a shotgun since the name is rifle.
There didn't seem to be any spread in the gameplay videos.

I Don't trust the gameplay videos, lots of them had place holders and unpolished features.
Not going to trust anything until the game actually comes out.

But for now I do believe it's a shotgun, it's called multiplas rifle, multi means plural right? It shoots a plural amount of plasma bolts?

Yeah I was thinking it was a shotty or at least some kind of plasma burst rifle, Good to see the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle is back I used that one a lot in FO3. :tops:

I think I recall seeing the DAM listed for the Multi-plas on one of the gameplay videos. It was listed like (number) rather than (number) x (number of shot). I understood that all shot throwing weapons would have their damage listed as the second example. So if this is accurate, and not a mistake, then the Multi-Plas is more probably a full auto plasma rifle rather than a plasma shotgun.

As I said, I won't trust any of the trailers.
The first gameplay trailer had a former big gun having the STR requirement of 4 or 5 which Josh noticed by us here on the forum and edited it.

So, I won't consider it confirmed in any way until the game has been released or if Josh decides to confirm it himself here on the forum.

Honestly, I don't know if I even want a plasma shotgun, I mean a laser shotgun worked but plasma? Wouldn't it have to be as big as the gatling laser or something.

since the Spore plants are returning. why not have a gun that shoots out plant spikes at rapid speed. and poisons the enemy as long as he is not a robot

Maybe if the Railway Rifle is making a return the spikes the plants shoot at you could be used as some sort of poisonous ammunition for it? :tops:

Actually it was confirmed in @gamer a day or so ago, one of the ghouls in Repcon had one attached to his hip.

Thank you very much. You affirmed the Laser Pistol, my favorite early game weapon, as well as the Shishkebab, my favorite melee weapon for my Melee playthrough. Already knew the Laser Pistol was in but forgot where I saw it.

I would provide the page which has links to the image on the Legion Sword page and three other photos (the Courier fighting a HUGE Cazadore with the Shishkebab, the Courier with aviator shades and a weird rectangular gun which may be the Laser Pistol or the Cyberpunk Cowboy SMG, and Nipton Hall with the Courier in combat armor with the Falcata/Legion Sword), but I'd be violating the rules by doing so.

My German has gotten horrible from little use. It took me 20 minutes to find those pics.
