ugh just let them have slit eyes with pupils black and the surronding glowing

I'd be happy if they left the eyes the same but simply made them glow.

Bringing this back up.

I personally find the old Vampire look much more enjoyable than the new one. Glad the Argonians and Khajiit's got to keep it, rather then get some forced makeover.

I greatly prefer the new look honestly, kind of takes me out of the game when my character is the only one in the land that doesn't look like a vampire.

You can seek a refund under the consumer terms which state that a product is 'not as advertised' or 'falsely advertised' being that the product you've purchased does not fulfil what the advertisemant promises. Essentially the 'Dawnguard Vampire Eyes' are a selling factor in the advertisemants for the product and although only shown on a Nord in the advertisemants you would expect every race to have them.

Before someone says 'but they can state blah blah beast characters dont receive this' - the only thing they can state if it was true would be that only nords receive the eye effect because that is the only character in the advertisemant - and it isn't because every race except Khajit (beast) and Argonian (Reptile) do have them...

Try and seek a refund.

I don't know if I'd go that far, I don't want my cash back. I love the DLC so far and I just want them to live up to what they hyped me into thinking I was going to get.

It's the reason my face is about to explode, I like my characters looking nice too. As it is, this entire DLC has ruined my desire to play my character and therefor I don't want to play Skyrim period as Khajiit are the only race I truly enjoy playing.

Turned my khajit character into a vampire no glowing eyes

Edit: At least she doesn't have the obnoxious red slit.

I managed to make my Volkihar Khajiit look very badass despite his fur turning white (took a while to accomplish but I did it), but I think he'd look even better with glowing eyes.

I've stopped playing Skyrim in favor of other games, this DLC with all of it's issues has totally removed my desire to play.

I've been jumping around, enjoying the demo for the new transformers game at the moment.

With the way Dawnguard treated beast races, I'm beginning to doubt if I'll get the next expansion. If this is any indication of how things are going to be, I see no reason to.

I just hope the next expansion is well an actual expansion. But yeah my attention at the moment is Dark Souls, Dragon's Dogma, and Kingdoms Of Amular. Going to get KOA soon.

I'm getting amped up for the new Transformers game still by playing the new demo, followed by Borderlands 2. If they don't fix this, I'm likely to just shelf Skyim until further notice.

The short version:

Khajiit and Argonian vampires did not benefit from the amazing makeover that other species recieved in the Dawnguard expansion
instead look exactly like they did pre-Dawnguard and I have no idea why they were left out...

To me the glowing orange eyes are iconic of the Dawnguard expansion, I've been staring at them in every advertisemant for months and have been greatly anticipating upgrading my character to a glowing eyed vampire demon. I had tried to be a vampire before the DLC and I hated how it made my character look, it was not very appealing to me. Then I learn Dawnguard was going to give them a facelift with some amazing glowing eyes too and it totally got me excited to finally be a bloodsvcker. You see, to me the eyes are a feature just like any weapon or quest, they were promoted, emphasized and I want them. Everyone would be freaking out if only Nords could wear Dawnguard armor so please don't try to tell me it was intentional or that beast races are "different" because I've heard that before and I don't believe that's a sufficiently plausible excuse.

After staying up all night long to download the expansion and become a vampire again I'm devastated to find that I look EXACTLY the same as I did in the vanilla game (the way I couldn't stand) and it made my heart sink. The entire DLC is vampire focused and my character is being left out it seems. I can't stand walking around as an outdated relic from an older version of the game, every other vampire looks great, I see their amazing eyes glowing from the darkness and it's fantastic looking, while I stand out like a horker trying to blend in with a pack of wolves. My character who as a sneak archer spends her time in the shadows would look amazing and yet she's denied the glory of the glowing eyes...

Now I'm sitting here with a vampire DLC that I can't stand to play because my character is being neglected. I have no idea if this was intentional or just a glitch but as it is, I'm to the point that I don't even want to play Dawnguard now (I'm even having trouble wanting to play the game period) and I'm considering not buying the next DLC if my favorite species is going to be left out again. If this isn't fixed, I very well may just give up on this game altogether. While I'm aware that I'm raging pretty hard over a seemingly "small" thing, to me it's a huge deal and was one of the things I was actually looking forward to with the add-on.

I'm sitting here with a $20 DLC that I can't enjoy because my immersion just took an Orcish boot to the privates.
If I wanted to be a vanilla vampire, I would have done it before buying the expansion.
I can only hope that it's set right soon.

Please, fix these races because I want to enjoy this otherwise amazing expansion SO badly.

They will not fix this because it cost money to pay artist to do this and there is no profit as you clearly buys the DLC non the less. Bethesda has gone dark side, they are more or less Microsoft or a company that heart is in the money and not to create something well made, complete and smoothen up where there would be no bugs anymore.
