I don't quite believe that, it'd take ten minuets to whip of a new eye texture and stuff it in a patch.

Plus, not updating the DLC will cost them even more because folks like myself aren't going to continue supporting the game if they don't give us equal consideration when making these things.

I just want these damn bugs fixed. -Looks at Vingalmo- And I want to actually upgrade Castle Volkihar. Until patch 1.7 comes out, I'm moving on to other games.

That's where I'm at, just playing anything to catch my attention right now. If Skyrim hadn't let me down so hard with Dawnguard I'd probably be nearing 2,000 hours played. >.>

I still have a pretty high amount of hours played... . Roleplaying gets the best of me sometimes. But until I have an urge to play it again and the new patch comes. I'll be giving it a break. Darksiders 2 and Sleeping Dogs is coming.

in my opinion the fangs look fine and you sound terribly childis complaining about glowing eyes, i mean if thats your biggest problem with the game you should be happy

So it's childish to expect to receive what was advertised? I'd be in the wrong if I went to McDonalds to get a cheeseburger only to find it had no cheese? The sign on the menu has cheese, the commercials on TV have it too, the signage on the windows as well, I see cheese everywhere yet I get none. Should I just shut up and eat my cheeseless burger and pretend it's "not a big deal" and be happy with it?

That's how I see Dawnguard, as a dry cheeseless burger. Every advertisemant shows off fantastically creepy vampires with glowing eyes, I as a person who plays beast races exclusively has been left in the dust. It kills immersion when you see everyone in your castle looking like the Dragonborn in the adverts and pictures and you look like an outdated character that's totally out of place. They essentially implied that vampire characters would look a certain way, they didn't make good on that and I'm rightfully upset.

At this point I've given up hope that there will be a patch. A lot of PC users are playing a buggy game, I don't think there's going to be a patch.

I'm just getting fed up with folks calling this thread childish, if you play a beast race it's a big deal. People would be livid if werewolves didn't have ears or something like that, but this issue is apparently not a big deal since it doesn't affect the majority of the community.

Also, you're probably right. It's been too long and they've had such terrible luck with this DLC, odds are it's no longer profitable and therefor in their best interest to fix this thing before it falls apart entirely. Though I do commend them for holding off the PS3 release until it actually works, it would have been nice to get some updates along the way but it's something at least. I'm still secretly holding out and hoping that once the PS3 gets the DLC there will be a magical update to remedy this DLC and make us all love the game again. Possibly with some extra content tacked on as an apology of sorts.

Unfortunately this is true. Not too many people play the beast races exclusively, which is why beast races get the shaft sometimes.

Well, considering that Vanilla Skyrim tries really hard to strong arm you into playing a Nord, maybe the people working for Bethesda are all really hardcoe role players and so they're discreminating against the Khajiit and Argonians? It's either that, apathy, or incompetence...

Finally someone like me. I never was going to be a khajiit vampire until i saw those eyes and learned you got them as a vampire lord.

i was gunna delete the download... lucky i didn't, but i won't play as a vampire now... and i was cut az haha

I feel left out tho.. because i never play as a non-beast race and never have since i started playing elderscrolls morrowind... its kinda a big deal to me and all my friends who also only play as beast race characters

i think you're whinning, sorry, i'm a ps3 player and i'm happy my game is playable, and here you're complaining about such a little thing, you know ? I dont care for the eyes i just would like to play this DLC
And another thing, i don't want to be a butthole but don't you have better things to do than to complain about such a thing ?
it's horrible if you don't like the game and the DLC why do you give it the attention if you know the won't do anything about it ?

Sorry you're so upset about the PS3 but that's no reason to come in here and belittle someone else's problems. I love Skyrim and I love my character, just because you can't play the DLC doesn't mean that this issue isn't worth the effort to talk about. This isn't a matter of PRIORITY, it's just talking about a problem that needs to be addressed. I never said I hated the game, it's because I love the game that I'm here, I'm trying to enjoy Dawnguard as best as I can. We don't know that they "won't do anything about it", that's why I'm keeping this issue in the light so I CAN be fixed.

If you don't like the topic, don't post please. If you think my problems are insignificant, just move on and let us try to fix it.

Whining? when I see something on a character and get told they we get something specific like those eyes from being a vampire lord, well i would only assume that such a small thing would be available to all races.

Its like going into the shop to buy a Cold Fizzy Drink with a hangover, but leave with only a war bottle of water. Yes you still get a Drink but its not what u expected, no matter how big or small it is.

I feel like you are the whining , since you have to bring up the PS3 skyrim problems most of us know able in a thread that has nothing to do with it.

Really really enjoying a Dunmer vampire right now, it's weird how something that people think is so dumb totally makes a difference. My Dunmer looks so cool and I'm loving the DCL 10 times more, just wish I could enjoy it that much on my Khajiit characters...

I just noticed that my nord vampire has different eyes than my breton vamp. Another bug?

There's now a mod that allows khajiit and Argonians to have glowy eyes.

I hope so too. Looks like we weren't the only ones who were disappointed with no glowy eyes for beast races. Somebody made a mod
I just wish we didn't have resort to mods for these kind of things.

Hmm I guess maybe there's bug with it. But yeah at least somebody out there is doing something about it.

I just looked at the pics included in that mod, and the eyes don't really seem that glowy to me. Weird. If you get it to work, you should post some comparative pics so we can see the improvements and all that good stuff.
