I just got Borderlands GotY for the PC. I used to play it on Xbox 360, but I decided to go the PC route. Anybody interested in starting out my Borderlands PC adventure with me?

I recently finished a playthrough of the main story (rushed straight through) with Antibody, but I wouldn't mind going through again. I wanna try a Berserker build that's exclusively rocket launchers. I think that would be fun haha.

We've still gotta play through the DLC in my campaign one of these days, but I'd be willing to wait a few years for you and Simpson to finish a playthrough. :P

That's true, well like before just PM me when you think you'll have time to play.

There's no reason both of you couldn't help out. It is 4-player co-op after all.

I would but we just finished the main campaign very recently, and I'm not up for playing it all over again any time soon. But I am eager to play the DLC, as I've never played any of them before.

Ok, no worries.

The midnight release of Dead Island is tomorrow, and, while I thought that my manager wouldn't make my first shift be a midnight release, my friend who works there had his first shift on Black Friday....we may have to wait haha.

I do have all the DLCs, but I don't exactly have a high-level character...

I know, I'm just saying my reason for why I don't want to play the main campaign again so soon, that's all. Like Spanky said, he and I can still play through the DLC while you and him play through the main campaign.

Also, after seeing this: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=jQF7GQjTjsM

Borderlands 2 is my most anticipated game of 2012 (if it does indeed come out).

so is borderlands 2 going to be more free roam and open world?

because in that game play video the guy said that all that land was playable.

because that was one of my biggest complaints about the first game.

If I had to guess, I'd say it'll be very similar to Borderlands 1; but who knows for sure.

I'd take anything he (Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox) says about the layout of the world with a grain of salt. The details given about the world in the first Borderlands made it seem pretty different from what we actually got. He made it seem much more open than it actually was. If Borderlands 2 is actually as explorable as Pitchford says, then that's great, but until you can see it for yourself be very skeptical about what Pitchford says.

I would agree with that. I'm expecting it to be a little bit better then Borderlands 1 in terms of Open World but it's not going to be a true open world due to Unreal Engine 3.

I haven't ever played Borderlands online, the main reason is because I've read in lots of forums that a lot of people use modded weapons and it can mess up your saves. I really want to try multiplayer so I'll start backing up my saves. I play Borderlands on Steam, my Steam ID is sithman1134 and my Gamespy ID is The_Lobotomite. I currently have a level 50 siren, I have finished all of the DLC's once and I am on my second playthrough.

I dug deep for this one.

Anyways, Borderlands 2 has an official release date this year. It's my most anticipated game. It's set to come out September 18th.

The game looks like it will be epic. The first was awesome, and I read a while back that this time their going to have an actual story. Anybody else pumped?!

I loved the first game. It was flawed and really empty in parts, yet the style was awesome and I had some of my all time gaming moments playing online. I won't be around for the first month of release, but I can't wait to get home in October and blast it online!

Watch the trailer in the link I posted, that alone has me pumped. I'm playing Borderlands tonight when I get home from school. I'm going to beat the final DLC and I'll have 100% my only game (xbox 360). It's odd to think that of all the games I've played, I've not once gotten all the achievements for any of them. Oblivion was the closest I got and I never got around to beating the Shivering Isles DLC again.
