Cat-girls instead of Furries [Request]

http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/476333-khajiit-remodding-human-cat-style-anime-like/

Copy-pasta'd from the Nexus... I am no expert on mesh editing, but it seems like this should be possible without the ck. I already came across one mod that combined two armour meshes. So I am asking if there is some kind soul that could do this (if possible). :) I am in no rush, currently happy playing my dunmer.

I wouldn't mind it if it was more western style than anime.
After all, the Khajiits from Daggerfall weren't cats, they were people with cat blood or something.

There are several different breeds of Khajiit. The Ohmes of Daggerfall and Arena looked very human, but they were still Khajiit. So technically this mod could even be lore correct

Yeah, I dont want it to be totally anime looking, I would be happy if the khajiit body mesh could be replaced with the human and nord face, buy add the tail and ears, and perhaps the hairstyles too.

I think those are still considered furries... but I'm no expert on the matter.

I always liked Daggerfall's Khajit. I mean, I really like Skyrim's take on them, but Daggerfall's version was my favourite.

the Khajit are a weird, weird race even by fantasy cat-people standards. Just check out their http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit. Turns out there are over twenty subspecies which fall all over the anthropomorphic scale from the Ohmes (virtually indistinguishable from wood elves) to the Senche-raht (intelligent quadrupedal cats as tall as two men and as heavy as 50). They are all born identical but quickly diverge into their true form, which is determined by the phases of the moons when they were born. Crazy stuff.

Holy crap, now I really want to play as a Senche-raht.

I'm very ok with this. The cat girls were among my favorite race mods for Oblivion!

I agree. Doesn't look like Khajiits at all. I can understand Daggerfall and Arena Khajiits, but these looks nothing like those. More like, Pokemon Khajiit.

If you want to bring nekomimis to SK, I'll kill you.
HOWEVER! If you want to bring the full tree of species and subspecies of the kajiiit, argonian, men and mer, you have all my encouregement... that makes more than 800 races! :D

I heard there were furries in this topic :D

But yeah, Certain Subspecies of Khajiit are pretty resemblant of what some would know as Nekos. Thought they would lack the general mannerisms that go with them, they would certainly resemble them.

...Maybe not stylistically, but in the "Humans with cat-ears" sense.

That's more Manga/Anime, less Furry.

Furry would be things like referring to one's hands as Paws, calling one's compatriots your Furriends, or using Murrrrrr as an exclamation of contentment.

I jest, of course. Furry is so wide and generic nowadays you can slap a tail and ears on something and it's considered Furry by Association by and large.

Putting the sub-breeds in Skyrim would be nice. The breeds are many, and quite interesting. Not to mention having them in game would enhance it.

Open Spoiler for a run-down, courtesy of the esteemed IL:

Spoiler
Ohmes

Similar in many ways to the Bosmer, although generally of lesser stature. In order to avoid being mistaken as one of the Bosmer many Ohmes tattoo their faces to resemble a feline-aspect. The Ohmes is the most common form seen outside of the province of Elsweyr, taking advantage of other races' preference to their appearance to serve in positions of ambassadorship and trade. It is possible that the Ohmes are the type of Khajiit in Arena.

Ohmes-raht

Similar to the race of men, save for their short, light-colored fur, the Ohmes-raht may easily be mistaken as men at a distance. Unlike the many other species of Khajiit, who walk, like cats, upon the balls of their feet, the Ohmes-raht walk upon their heels. The Ohmes-raht are most likely the type of Khajiit in the game Daggerfall.

Suthay

Similar to the Suthay-raht in all respects, save that they are of lesser stature.

Suthay-raht

Similar in height and build to the race of man, the Suthay-raht are one of the most common races of Khajiit. Their coloring ranges from dark brown and orange, to light yellow, both with and without stripes and spots. Suthay-raht are often referred to as "Ja'Khajiit" by those of other races; this appellation often strikes the Khajiit as odd, said title being one of their names for Mehrunes Dagon. ("Ja'Khajiit" would literally mean "young Khajiit" or kitten, and the Khajiit call Mehrunes Dagon this "for what is more destructive than a young cat?" -Words of Clan Mother Ahnissi)
Note: The majority of Khajiit encountered in Redguard, Morrowind and Oblivion are of the Suthay-raht strain.

Cathay

A Khajiiti form determined by Lunar Lattice (ja'Kha'jay): when moon Masser is waxing and Secunda is full. Similar to the Suthay-raht in appearance and bi-pedalism, however they possess greater stature and strength.

Cathay-raht

A Khajiiti form determined by Lunar Lattice (ja'Kha'jay): when moons Masser and Secunda are waxing. Larger and stronger than the Cathay, the Cathay-raht are often described by non-Khajiit races as "jaguar-men". Whether this implies that the Cathay-raht are a spotted breed or not is unknown.

Tojay

Little is known of the Tojay, save that they live in the southern marshes and jungle regions of Elsweyr, as well as the Tenmar forest.

Tojay-raht

Nothing is known of the Tojay-raht.

Alfiq

A quadrupedal form of Khajiit, the Alfiq is, in many respects, similar to a common housecat. Although diminutive in form, the Alfiq retain the keen intelligence of the Khajiiti, having the ability to understand the spoken word of others, although unable to respond. It is possible that they can cast spells; see Mixed Unit Tactics for more on this subject.

Alfiq-raht

Nothing is known of the Alfiq-raht.

Dagi

Little is known of the Dagi, save that they live in the southern marshes and jungle regions of Elsweyr, as well as the Tenmar forest. A passage in Mixed Unit Tactics suggests they and the related sub-species, the Dagi-raht, might have some magical ability.

Dagi-raht

Nothing is known of the Dagi-raht.

Pahmar

Quadrupedal, the Pahmar is similar in appearance and size to a tiger.

Pahmar-raht

The Pahmar-raht is similar to the Pahmar in appearance, although larger and possessed of a fiercer disposition.

Senche

The Senche is commonly employed by the other Khajiit breeds as a steed, assumedly by will. Roughly the same height as the average Altmer, with an average weight comparable to that of twenty Altmer.

Senche-raht

Larger and slower than the Senche, the Senche-raht are also possessed of a shorter body-span and straighter legs. The average Senche-raht stands as tall as two Altmer and can weigh more than fifty. Like the Senche, Senche-raht are also employed as steeds, notably in battle, whence they earned the title "battlecats" from Imperial troopers.

Mane

A Mane can be born only under a rare alignment of Masser and Secunda when, according to legend, a third moon appears in the sky. In olden times, the Khajiit would shave off their own manes in deference to the Mane, braiding them into locks that he would incorporate into his own, gigantic mane. Over time, as the population grew, this ritual became impractical. Thus, while all Khajiit continue to remove their manes in deferential respect, they do so largely as a symbolic sacrifice, disposing of the shorn locks. The current Mane, however, continues to wear the braids of his own tribe, as well as those of his Warrior Guard, which encompasses hundreds of Khajiit. In fact, so weighted down by the hair of his kinsmen is he that the Mane cannot move without aid, and travels about the countryside by means of a Cathay-raht supported palanquin.

Anime? In my Skyrim?! NOT ON MY WATCH!

No but please, lay off with the anime mods I beg. On every Fallout/ES nexus I see it littered with freaking anime mods. The worst part is, some of the mods are actually pretty cool; but also add anime-esque stuff to it additionally. Please dont make Skyrim like this. :(

Well it's a nice thought but most of the subraces would either be unsuitable for a playable race (the tiny quadrupedal and mute Alfiq, the quadrupedal Pahmar and Pahmar-raht, the gigantic quadrupedal Senche and Senche-raht and the unique Mane), nothing is known about them (Alfiq-raht, Dagi, Dagi-raht, Tojay and Tojay-raht) or they barely differ from the already playable Suthay-raht (the slightly smaller Suthay, the slightly bigger Cathay).

Only the Ohmes (mostly human), Ohmes-raht (furry humans) and Cathay-raht (giant jaguar men) are really suitable for making into new custom races.

I'm hoping http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35579 makes it to Skyrim. I call them the Ohmes-Raht subspecies. I've never like look of the snouts on Oblivion Khajiits, Skyrim's are better, but human-faced would still be preferrable to me ^_^

I'd like lore friendly Ohmes and Ohmes-raht, although my favourite implementation of the latter was done by Integration: The Stranded Light for Oblivion, an absolutely cracking mod that has a reason for why they're never seen, and helps you over turn that reason.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. o_o;

I think http://i.imgur.com/RfuZJ.jpg would be the better implementation.
