Champion Of Cyrodiil vs Dovahkiin!

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:11 am

Greetings fellow prisoners,

in your opinion, who would win in a fight? the CoC vs Dovahkiin!

you can decide said combat useing either gameplay mechanics or lore, as long as ur arguement makes sense

I Personally have to go with the CoC, he has Dusk/Dawnfang, has access to the crusaders Relics, not to mention the Imperial Dragon Armor.

so who do think would win such a fight?

yes the Dovahkiin has the shouts, but that does not make him unbeatable. I have to go with the CoC just because he has a better assortment of gear

Dovahkiin! I've been playing Oblivion recently, and I really miss the shouts ... Not to mention all the gold you can earn from dragon bones!

Hmm, i guess.. buuut.. doesn't mean more assortment = better gear.. .. i just think the shouts count for everything.

Hard to say. The gameplay is so different. I feel tougher as the Dovahkiin than I did as the CoC or the Nerevarine but I think that's becuase of the improved combat. Personally I think they'd battle inconclusively then team up vs the real threat.

CoC since he is an immortal Daedric Prince now...

The Dragonborn is powerful but not immortal... Nerevarine has better luck since he is immortal...

I'm more curious about the Eternal Champion VS The Agent heroes since they are quite equal in power themselves.

~Edit~

I want to see all 5 of the Main Elder Scrolls Heroes team up to fight the most powerful enemy in Tamriel.

Right after the Nerevarine does this, the Eternal Champion comes and smacks him in the head with the Staff of Chaos

God I hate these "Who would win in a fight..." type things. You know who would win? Whomever Bethesda wants to win, that's who!

Since the Dragonborn can summon a pet dragon and Tsun to his side for aid, not to mention Lydia, Stray Dog and a horse, I'm going to go with Dovahkiin for the win.

The champions get stronger and stronger

The Nerevarine is the champion of a daedric prince, probably stronger than the Eternal and Daggerfall champion

the Champion of Cyrodiil IS a daedric prince, and already killed one, so a simple champion of one should be no problem.

The Dovahkiin is the champion of an aedric god, and the killer of that god's first born son. And he did so with ease. If he can do THAT, I don't see how a daedric prince would be able to defeat him? Maybe someone who is a dangerous god in terms of fighting, like Mehrunes Dagon, Molag Bal...but Sheogorath is just madness. Not much of an advantage. the Dragonborn killed someone who ENDS THE WORLD! CoC couldn't even fend off Mehrunes Dagon by himself, even if you did the SI questline first. (never thought about it...if you did that questline first and it was Prince vs. Prince...)

I would say the Dragonborn is the strongest if they fought on Nirn. Obviously CoC would win if they fought in the Shivering Isles, though. But the Dovahkiin is a legendary warrior, while the CoC isn't really. He wasn't foretold in prophecy to be a warrior and end the Oblivion invasion, he helped someone else fulfill their prophecy.

Dovakhiin would win easily. He has shouts and lots of new destruction spell types.(wall, cloak, ice spear, storm...etc) CoC cannot even dual wield :P

Gameplay wise, Nerevarine since you can get insanely OP like how I used damaged STR and INT down to 0 easily on Vivec and Almalexia.
Lore wise, Dovahkiin because he actually has some unique, combat worthy traits. In a fight to the death he might have some trouble against CoC, but he could win an exhibition match, unless there's a way to wreck his respawn point like Jyggalag did to the Saints/Seducers.

I assume it is pre-godlike CoC? Then it would likely be the Dovahkiin. One can argue about gameplay mechanics and enchantments and game specific exploit, but that doesn't really change the ground. If this battle were to be fought it would be in lore setting and at the end of the day the Dovahkiin has the power of the Thu'um and the CoC doesn't. They are both powerful individuals though.
If you count the post-godlike CoC I think we can all assume the Dovahkiin would lose.

Dovahkiin. I haven't played Morrowind in a long time so I'm really fuzzy on lore but we need to view accomplishments and powers:

Dovahkiin
- Defeated the Self-Proclaimed Son of Akatosh
- Has Dragon Shouts and can master the Shouts very easily
- Has a Pet Dragon
- Ability to summon the Three Original Heroes from the Dragon Wars
- Went to the Realm of the Dead, survived, and faced down Tsun
- Looked into the Elder Scrolls without going permanently blind

Champion of Cyrodiil
- Helped an illegitimate child of the Emperor defeat a Daedric Prince
- Defeated a Daedric Prince
- Became Sheogorath

Dovahkiin would win. Although the Champion of Cyrodiil defeated a Daedric Prince, Dovahkiin defeated the World-Eater and a semi-immortal Aedra like Dragon.

Dovahkiin was unable to kill Alduin alone, he had to enter Sovngard and get help from the three heroes in order to defeat him. not to mention i remember reading somewhere that Alduin was only delayed, and that he will eventually return (not sure if that is true or not)

Dovahkiin may be a hero of Akatosh as people say, but the CoC is the champion of The Nine (Knights Of The Nine), meaning he is also a champion of Akatosh as well as the other 8.

where the dovahkiin required help to defeat Alduin, the CoC managed to single handedly defeat the Daedric Prince of Order (Jyggalag), there by becomeing a daedric prince himself.

Well if it was me on my Skyrim Character versus me on my Oblivion character, I would just use Unrelenting Force or Ice Form on against my Oblivion character and then pummel him senseless. By the time my evil clone (Oblivion character) got up, he'd have already lost all, if not the majority of his health.
