Well, perhaps you have to "vent" all this "excitement" with six..your partner will be glad eternally to you ... :bunny:

The Dawn probably refers to the Dawn Era. The Thalmor want to take the world back to the early part of the Dawn Era before Lorkhan tricked the gods.

I think you're right on this, and probably we'll have even Dwemer in it. And i still believe that if not in Skyrim (seen from a new perspective in another era) it would be settled in High Rock. Perfect for a "big sized " Dlc (well,it would be more an "expansion" i this case i believe)

It could be even this, but don't forget that Mehrunes Dagon had a crucial role already in Oblivion.

This Dawnguard is strictly related to Snow Elves (and the Dwemer "mistery" probably) as we already know.

I firmly believe even (like i've said in another similar topic ) that the other Dlc would be related probably to the destruction of Morrowind and the concomitant Winterhold Great Collapse.

In fact, the developers had already put in the game clear references to the possible "dlcs" contents with some of the "load screens" in my opinion.

And this could be only good,'cause these subjects are all far superior to Skyrim "main story" and could probably add the depth that the vanilla game lacks.

alot of people believe that, as a leaked patch code suggests vampire updates, such as feeding etc, that automatically means the story will follow this idea. I think however the story is more likely moving towards an encounter with the mythic dawn cult, and trips to the daedric world of oblivion. and the vampire, werewolf, and weapon upgrades will be an addition, though this does not have to be part of the main story in order for it to be added.

Also the glowing eyes and arrows, in the poster art may be more of a tease suggesting aditional gaming content rather than story content.

Either way at this years E3, I will be watching even more intently than I had originally planned to, roll on june the 5th

Wild speculation, but...

What if the 'Dawn' part of 'Dawnguard' is actually derived from 'Dawnstar' closest settlement to the Hall of the Vigilants of Stendaar.

If there's some new Vampire feeding animations being added, well the Vigilant quite like to tell you how then hunt Vampires, Werewolves and Daedra. Daedra and Werewolves are quite well formed in comparison to Vampires in Skyrim. Maybe that's a tweak in order to bring them up to a similar level of aesthetic?

Vampires aare also more associated with Night. As with the others.

To quote the Vigilants "Walk always in the light, or we will drag you to it."

I think all these ideas are great, I wish we could have them all, we shall have to wait and see.

heres another one then, if the mythic dawn have been all but wiped out would it not make sense for them to maybe join forces with another all but wiped out minority, the snow elfs, with a fresh from oblivion return of the great prince himself, out to reap vengance on the land that scorned him so, skyrim, and the nords that reside within.

very interesting idea, but i think that a re-run of TESIV (Oblivion) should wait for a bit. but i like the idea
