I wonder what the new landmass could be.... My bets are on something still not shown in any trailer. I recognize the general areas of the two castles... so there must be something none of us have seen yet.

One of the articles during E3 explained that she is to be sacrificed as part of the ritual to gain control over the sun, something she understandably does not want to do. I would assume she ends up helping the dawnguard in some way if you side with them.

More now than ever I'm hoping that the vamps castle is situated on Roscrea. I would much rather have this option as opposed to some random vampire castle coming out of the Sea of Ghosts. Plus I have always wanted to see this island ever since I first read about it. Doubtless though, I'm pretty pumped for this expansion. Going to be epic

Why the hell would she help them? Sure, she must be sacrificed. But not joining with Harkon does not mean she is going to join the Dawnguard. It wouldn't make sense, and it would be ridiculous. Dawnguard are a bunch of fanatics that want to kill off vampires. Harkon wants to blot out the sun because of the prophecy that says ALL vampires will be eradicated by the incoming doom of sorts. You think he came out of nowhere and said "Let us block the sun because we want to feed on people for the hell of it in a darkened world?"

No. Vampires want to survive and they sure as hell are going to try to. And the Dawnguard will try to stop them. I believe she is a good person even if she doesn't try to help out the tyrannical enemy that is the Dawnguard. If your doom was coming, wouldn't you try to find a way to survive and stop it?

Its like saying cows are going to try to stop humans from devouring them by accelerating the rate of our apocalypse. Would you join the cows and shake hands? "Come, cattle, let us be friends and live together peacefully."

Soul Cairn is but one of at least two large new landmasses in the game. However, the story will also play out across the Skyrim we all know and love, which is really cool.
