Did you become bored of Skyrim and feel like you have "finished" all that you want to do, in a quicker time frame than previous Elder Scrolls titles?

no, I don't. skyrim is the best skyrim game to date and i'm a morrowind player, morrowind was my first game, oblivion was a huge disappointment, and skyrim brought it all back to gravy baby. the series is changing and i'm ok with that, that's normal. it's changing for the better. it's no longer a niche series and it's mainstream, that happens when something is good. that's how the world works.

I have slowed down in playing it a bit. But that's because I've clocked 300+ hours in already. Right now I'm playing the Darkness II and Fallout 3 GOTY.

what I don't get is how people can play the game for over 300 hours and then come to hte forums and be like "wtf beth, game is boring now, i beat it, wtf, liek wtf, the game is boring now after 300 hours like wtf beth" uhhhhhhh, the game is only a 300 hour game. if you beat the game, guess what, you beat the game, get a life, get a new game, and stop qq'ing over something that is working as intended LOL. the game does not last forever.

Morrowind was intense.
Oblivion was tedious.
Skyrim is awesome.

No, I think I have played about two or three times as much since November as I played with other titles from when I bought them to now.

same here with morrowind bud, oblivion svcked but I still play morrowind, that doesn't mean it's not boring. morrowind is pretty boring now that i've played it for like uhhh, 9 years? games get old. that doesn't mean they stop being fun. something can be boring and enjoyable at the same time. golf is not exactly a fast paced sport, yet it's enjoyable to a lot of people. boring as all get out to watch, but it's still fun. and I'm sorry to say, but there is simply NOT 1000 hours of content in oblivion, not even remotely. you are either stretching your rp to the limits or using MANY mods, but vanilla oblivion? lol. it's hideous and terrible. no one could play vanilla oblivion for 1000 hours. there is simply not 1000 hours of content.

No, unless compared to Daggerfall, but I was younger and more easily amused back then. But I lost interest in Morrowind and Oblivion much sooner than Skyrim.

Boring does not equal fun in my book.

the point is, if you've played skyrim for 300 hours, you played it for 300 hours for a reason. shut your mouth, you enjoyed THREE HUNDRED HOURS, you got your moneys worth, that's the point. i don't think people understand nor realize how long 300 hours is rofl..that's like 3 straight weeks of uninterrupted gameplay. yeah, you kind of got what was paid for and tripled.

Too soon for me to tell. I didn't start growing the least bit bored with Oblivion for at least a year, and two years plus into Oblivion I am still not "bored" with it, just not as "in" to it as I once was, so ask me again about Skyrim in nine months.

No. I was bored with Vanilla Oblivion pretty quickly. Vanilla Skyrim is staying interesting longer for me. Morrowind? I didn't even attempt that game vanilla. After that you are comparing modded Morrowind and modded Oblivion to vanilla skyrim and it isn't a fair comparison.

yeah i agree, vanilla OB is simply so bad i cannot play it at all. skyrim, however, i have surpassed the 300 hour mark and am enjoying it greatly still. i didn't do that with oblivion. when it came out, i put in like..60 hours, that was all I could take. the game was just too ugly, the quest were pretty fun, but my Lord it was just a bad game. the general feel of it was not good for me. skyrim however, the opposite, it's a beautiful game, could spend 10 hours just walking around. that could NOT happen in oblivion, since every single thing looked exactly the same - bright green. ugh.

I couldn't really get into Oblivion, and Morrowind's combat caused me to hand the game over to my neighbor after a very annoying day of playing.

Apart from Daggerfall, Skyrim is the only TES game I carried through to completion.

People enjoy different things I guess.

I'm still playing the game and not board at all. However I'm not sure I'll role another charecter like I've done in the past with the other games.

Skyrim actually got me back to give Oblivion a second chance, Oblivion just did not capture me men I bought it.

I have clocked in over 180 hours of Skyrim now, but stopped with Oblivion after two hours. The experience with Skyrim have encouraged me to give Oblivion a second chance. I shall only get my first Platinum Trophy first  .

Nope, not bored at all.

It helps if you don't play the game every single day. Taking a day or two off prevents burnout.

I've started three characters so far. I've repeated a number of quests. Still not bored.

No, I didn't get bored with it quicker than the others. I have finally come close to burning myself out on it for a little while though. My normal pattern is to burn out, set it aside for a couple months then pick it up again with some new mods and get svcked right back in.

The question for me will be whether Skyrim allows and inspires the modding community to do the same sort of amazing things they did for Oblivion. Whatever else you can say about Oblivion, it proved to be a very fertile ground for the modding community who went on to create a huge amount of amazing content.

Hopefully, Skyrim will see similar TLC and ultimate results.

the main quest svcked? how exactly did the main quest svck LOL? the main quest was extremely fun and awesome. killing dragons, learning shouts, what's not fun? it was probably the most in depth main quest since morrowind.
