I don't want to read through two previous threads to see if (or should I say when) these were brought up, but the two things that made me think DLC when playing was...

1) Mojave Outpost the gate that needs a key. I'm sure there'll be something related to the Rangers out that way.

2) The vault on the strip.
Spoiler
Mr. House had the vault cemented. When you go down near where it was sealed up, you can hear there is something down there. Securitrons, maybe, but there is sure to be something else.

I'm just looking forward to official word on what is going on. I think I read somewhere say there'd be DLC in December, though I am not sure if this was official or not.

Lets see

Area 51 hopefully that would solve the energy weapon problems.

A new secret vault thats not too far away from the wasteland.

Maybe some of the places from fallouts 1 and 2.

I didn't read the two previous threads either, and I get the feeling these have already been suggested numerous times, but I'll state them again just so people know how popular the idea might be:

I'd like to go west and re-visit some of the popular locations from the first two Fallout games. :tops:

Again, I'd like a 1200 or 1600 MSP DLC for Denver AKA Dogtown.

I wonder why no banks in New-Vegas area :) It would be nice to have some quests to rob a bank or prevent a robbery.

i really like the referencing from the other fallouts that vegas did, it was stupid that fallout 3 neglected alot of the history.. The mention of New Reno, and Marcus the Mutant gave me some comfort... even though I dont see how marcus survived..

Anycase I think more areas like vegas in dlc will make it great, yea vegas wasnt as lively as New reno was.... it had lots of stuff going on and Vegas should of had more NPC fights and Raids going on. Seemed a little less lively after you ran some tasks on vegas. The Kings should of had competition, I noticed some ppl made a mod where they fight the Tunnel Rats.

I think it also needs more lively vaults with little communties in it, not always monsters... I like the idea of the overseer refusing to allow a breach in the vaults society.

They also really should of put "Kick" in the game too, Man I miss being able to punch and kick... Stomps cool though. Maybe someday they will master the ability to throw and do melee combos making the game more unarmed friendly... I really like the boxing in fallout 2 as well, seeing the golden boxing gloves really got my hopes up. Little touches like that make the game awesome, not just a bunch of random arenas but Boxing, gambling, drinking contest.... Peer influeince.. Gang Initiation... Imagine a gang making you overdose on jet to join... A lot of this rpish flavor was missed a little in vegas, the quest seemed very straight forward.

Area 51 underground bunker for sure.
And the ability to explore the rest of vault 21 and find out why exactly Mr House wanted it sealed off.

You get a warning about the point of no return. What were you expecting? A return?

Ok, what I'm guessing will be in.

1:The North Passage map marker. You clear the boulders blocking the tunnel aiding the Crimson Caravan to open a route to New Caanan, Utah.

2: The Divide. No Idea whats there ( Death Valley? ) but if you haven't found that location yet, its just west of Primm, in the hills. The foreshadowing, calling you out by your title... ooooo, I can't wait for that one.

What ever the DLC is, it should have some meat to it (more than a 3 hour spoonful that can barely even explain itself).

Im hoping the dlc is going to be pretty large with a lot of play hours simply because it is coming out so soon after launch and you can clearly tell that by playing the game a lot of the map/areas/gates are probably for something to come? Are they making us pay more money for content that could have been included in the main game at launch, evidence suggests yes!

I'm sure it's been mentioned tons of times, but open up the map a bit more. Perhaps be able to use the Northern Passage?

I say the ability to re-open the lucky 38 for business and be able to upgrade it and hire people and stuff. You could buy themes and turn it into any type of casino you like(or keep it the same). You could get caps every week as income like the theif DLC in oblivion with the pirate ship. I would also like to see a trip to Mexico some way or another just because. Also zombie takeover area, maybe a place filled with a whole bunch or feral ghouls of different types and they are contaigous but can be cured.

have to agree and add a California expansion to the NCR Capitol and I love that they have AR-15's in the game but we need more mods for em'.

Yeah it'd be nice to actually make Lucky 38 work as a real casino on the strip.
But I'd also like for all the other casino's to get more quests.
Maybe not quests centered around them but at least have quest givers in there.
I find it hard to believe that so few people in the casino's have something for me to do.
It should be like a bar, tons of interesting people with their own problems that needs to be taken care of.

Remake Van Bueren, fit it in with F:NV, and make it a DLC.
Allow us to have evil companions, and even bring them back to the Mojave west.

Something similar to Operation Anchorage, i mean the setting not the story-line. I love snow... Jacobstown didn't have enough.

I honestly can say that I don't have a fantastic idea for the DLC, but I can say that I would like to see it come out on other systems than just the XBOX. If I had known that the DLC was coming out on XBOX exclusively, then I would have purchased it for XBOX. I sadly own it on PS3.

I....would love to see Vanburen as a DLC, it would, unfortunately it would probably have to be shortened. (BURNING MAN! WOOT!)

For the 100th time, the first DLC is not going to be an xbox exclusive. Xobox users are going to have a chance to buy it first, and then it will be made available for other platforms. It svcks if you don't have an xbox, but things like this are part of the gaming biz.

As for my DLC suggestions, I wouldn't mind going back to the Boneyard. I would love to see post apocalyptic LA, but a DLC probably couldn't do it justice.

I would also like a holo-sim for the last days of vault 11. Vault 11 was probably the cruelest "vault experiment" we've seen to date, and you really did there was shoot rats and bugs and read journals. Lot of missed potential there.

The New Vegas Revolution:

Out from the sky, Vertibirds(sp.) come and rain destruction upon the Mojave wasteland. In freeside, a huge plane lands, and out comes a man. These planes belong to a faction that no one has heard of. A broken off branch from the NCR.
He comes out with a Ranger Helmet, one side smashed, showing his eye. This is the leader of this group.

All around New Vegas, Vertibirds land, securing settlements and military bases. He gives you a clear choice. Join him to revolutionize New Vegas with him; Turn it into something that he has dreamed of for years, or rebel against him.

(Story could use some work, I was just in a rush to type it all down.)
