Drinking

For you?

1. Open bottle
2. Drink

Hey, sometimes I like to try new things. :)

1. Open bottle
2. Pour into large glass
3. Drink

(it's easier to drink from a glass)

I love getting battered every now and then. G&T's, Corona and Jaeger being particular favourites.

Lol, I like I said I live in a drinking town. It's only 3 times a week though. Two schooners or so on wing night, get ruined thursday, and friday a few bottles of wine bc thats the cheap night. I usually don't drink outside those days.

Depends how bladdered you are. Sigh, I get a headache just thinking about drinking rough red wine from a pint glass, even though it was more than 20 years ago. Er, I had more than one glass.

Yup, though my tastes have changed. Used to not like beer, was mostly vodka and hard liquor. Then I started drinking beer casually and it grew to be my favorite. I've got 3 Yuengling in my room that I plan on drinking tonight while celebrating "didn't get fined for expired tags and driving without insurance" (I had insurance, just not on me). Though, now, Yuengling isn't even my favorite. Rolling Rock is much better to drink sitting around for me.

I've never really given gin a chance. Any suggestions on how to prepare a good gin-based drink for a gin newbie?

Add tonic. Seriously that's it hon. Oh and a fresh wedge of lime (or if you're in a cheap mood, Tesco do lime flavoured tonic ;)).

Boyfriend sometimes has it with bitter lemon but that's too much for me. It goes nicely with pineapple juice too :)

Vodka Coke is my drink of choice. I usually don't like beer, but my favourite is Guinness...strange, I know.

I used to say that as well, you will come across one eventually that will win you over. ;)

I really hope so, I've been trying new beers as often as I can. I've come across a few that don't taste horrible, but still wouldn't be my number one choice :P.

I prefer drinking soda or other stuff over alcoholic drinks.

I drink maybe once a month or so, and only when I am at home. I don't like drinking with people at parties even though I never drink enough to even get remotely drunk. I never saw the appeal in getting drunk off your face and make a fool of yourself.

I am one of those people who just can't stand the taste of alcohol, so I tend to stick with light ciders. I also like Smirnoff Ice. I love mulled wine too but I have only been drinking the non-alcoholic stuff.

I absolutely detest beer and champagne, and wine tastes bitter and gross. Hard liquor is nasty and I can't taste much because of all the alcohol.

I am British and am currently living in Scotland. If that doesn't answer the question I don't know what does.

The most I have drunk is 21 units in 10 minutes, I then spend the next half hour throwing up and then was carried home (apparently). I tend not to drink cheap (< £20 for 70cl) spirits unless already wasted and normally drink ales and I appreciate good whisky.

I'm the same way, as in, I usually hate the taste of beer. I tried Guinness one time and really liked it, whereas everyone I know seems to really hate it.

I'd also like to add Cider. I love Cider.

For those who like to mix their own drinks, http://drinkify.org/ that creates yummy drink recipes at the click of a button!

I've so used that before!

I drink quite a bit...I have at least a pint a day at work, with a lot more being consumed at the weekends. I'm a big cider drinker (proper, alcoholic cider, not the apple juice that you guys in the US call cider)...part of that is growing up in the west country though!

Weekly house-parties get you accustomed to pretty much every drink on the market too, as does being a barman. I reckon I play Ring of Fire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_of_Fire_(game)) at least 3 times a week with people, and some very weird combinations crop up...some including food :(

I drink so little that it doesn't even qualify as 'once in a while'.

I drink, mostly drink on social occasions. I rarely drink just to get drunk.

I mostly drink Beer, Mooshead is the beer I like most. Wines are ok, and spirits mixed with something like Coka-cola :foodndrink:

And the only beer I actually like is some good ol' Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. But everything else around here tastes like horse piss so there isn't much of a choice.

Not old enough, but I do it on occasion. It's fun with a small group of friends. I enjoy Corona with lime, and Mike's Hard Lemonade.

Am I allowed to say this on this forum? Too late now, I guess.

I was done with my drinking days around age 24. Some good stories, but their best saved for friends and revelling in the Glory Days ;)

Now I'll have a drink about once every few weeks. Usually a rum and Coke, so the depressant counters the stimulant. Just a drink....that AAAhhhh after hard week's work, splitting a ton of firewood, or meeting up with family. :foodndrink:
