Dwemer machine in dead guy's basemant? #2

It's nothing, woulda been discovered by now, almost a week later.
We know that, but it's fun to examine what it could mean or become.

People really need to quit inventing 'theories' about what happened to the Dwemer.
We were told what happened to them over a decade ago.
They became Numidium, Numidium blew up.
They are not coming back.

In response to you; I do know that happened to the Dwemer, about them forming the "Bronze Skin of Numidium" and I get it. Although, even so, there are still Theories as to why Yagrum Bagarn didn't go aswell (which could be due to him being in a different plain of Oblivion, or not), and why Numidium/Anumidium didn't start up (still, maybe due to Yagrum not being part of the skin, who knows?).

But my point still stands. No one knows Exactly what happened. Even what we know thus far is only a Theory.

I was only flinging Ideas out by the way. I never said my idea is set in stone or anything. My guess is as good as any others.

I couldn't have asked for a better quote to summarise what I said.

Yagrum committed mass murder of his own race!

I'm mostly joking but doesn't he deliberately avoid going into any detail about Kagnerac's theories? He may be hiding the truth...

Maybe he came from my aforementioned colony idea and doesn't want to go into the details of their placing as that might jeopardize their lives.

I am actually starting to think that Yagrum was the one that was chosen to strike the Heart Of Lorkhan but he was protected by Wraithguard so he didn't get wiped off of Nirn.

That makes sense too. Unless Kagrenac is still around...

You know the more I think about it I realize this door reminds me of an old creepy pasta story about a morrowind mod with a door that would open only on a certain day.

here is a link http://inuscreepystuff.blogspot.com/2010/09/jvk1166zesp.html

you can easily draw several parallels between the two.

1.)people out at night not knowing who they are saying the same things

2.)use a scroll of Icarian flight in morrowind at the top of the map you land near where the house is in dragonborn.

3.)It is a partial dwemer ruin.

4.)the shadow could relate to herma mora seems like his minions.

So my advice to everyone "watch the skys" ^.-

I have come to a weak theory that Yagrum remained behind because he was the one Dwemer who went to the Divines and told them of Kagrenac's plan to use the Heart of Lorkhan. The Divines spared him from the wrath of whoever or whatever removed the Dwemer from Nirn.

In response to the Dwemer machine in the house, again I will ask, and forgive me if someone answered in a previous page but what was in that same location during Morrowind? Maybe an unnamed Dwemer Ruin and now we are just uncovering it again? Plus, anyone notice that the shape of the "room" is the same shape as the "machine"? Maybe it's the machine the Dwemer used to create the underground cities, they were digging in that area when something went wrong (the disappearance?) The chair and table is the guy who was over seeing the whole project.

There was nothing of Dwemeri origin on Solstheim in Bloodmoon. Nothing at all.

Ah... well it was a thought. The shape of the room and the shape of the machine still intrigue me but probably nothing to that.

Read the journal. Has numbers before each entry. Last entry being #51.

Has anyone tried summoning arniels spectre the guy who was so interested in keening and the dwemers disapearance? He might do something or maybe his heat spell will?

Im not expecting it to work but hey the two are semi linked so its worth a shot. Ill try in the morning myself, but if anything id expect the heat spell he gives you to activate it just because of the journal stating something about fire, i was thinking maybe the fire from the volcano activated the capsule but now that its over its not functioning so if we can get it to work by maybe heating it up we can finish drilling for it or i dont know something.

Lol stupid arniel, hit it with keening again. Oh you tried that well hit it harder as good old arniel always says, "if at first you dont succeed whack the [censored] out of it until it turns you into a ghost"

Has anyone tried going there with the blood extractor filled with Mer blood?

I don't have any characters who have it on them saved so it'd take some doing to try it but if someone has it handy it might be worth checking out. It could open with the blood of all the Mer races like the lockbock in Skyrim.

When I was reading the journal I couldn't help but think the numbers had something to do with it. They jump everywhere. First entries are correct but it skips like #3 and a few more. With just a few entries it ends up at #51.. anyone tried taking the numbers and changing it into a time, month and day?
