I saw someone named J.E. Sawyer browsing the other NV thread. Maybe he will drop us a bone?

I doubt Sawyer would say anything without a prior goahead from gamesas. Even if he loves the FO setting to bits and in all likelyhood enjoys us discussing it, he wont risk getting pulled from the project by saying anthing before getting permission.

But if he happens to stumble across this thread: "We lub joo!"

Not likely, it'll be official first.

IF the projected release date is 2010, when can we expect some more info, or even a teaser trailer?

Well my biggest worry about this game is that beth is not developing it, while im sure theyre watching development closely, obsidian is in the driver seat. I just hope its as addicting as fallout 3

I'm actually happier that Obsidian is developing it, rather than Beth. Don't get me wrong; Beth are fantastic developers but due to the BIS vets working on New Vegas it's likely to have some more dark humour in it, and hopefully better RPG elements (dialoge options which correspond to your intelligence, etc).

I think this thread will be quiet for a while until some more info is out there...

I'm pretty new to Fallout, only having played 3 in Sept. So I'm wondering, will Vegas come out on the 360 as well? And what would the time peroid be, would it be taking place around the time as 3, a while earlier, or later?

Yes it will get released for the 360 as well. There hasn't been anything official regarding the timeline of NV - merely speculation.

Should set it right after Fallout 1 and deal with the mutant threat moving east. You could even have destroyed cities that were partially rebuilt and destroyed again in the process. Double the destruction!

I know, I wasn't referring to the smiley. :P

How does this reference anything to do with New Vegas?

Current New Vegas developer version (i.e. build). Breaking means they can't get it (current version) to work for testing results of newly added code/art assets.

That's all the news (lol) I have for now, seeya next week chilllllllldren!

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but, in a recent interview, Pete Hines said this:

Pete: You'll have to wait and see what we have planned with the folks at Obsidian. We aren't ready to talk about Fallout New Vegas yet.

I wish there was at least a picture from New Vegas to look at. The wait is painful :(

I'd rather some concept work or maybe a viral site like prepareforthefuture.com. I don't want to see the game until they've got it polished. :)

Garrrh... the wait is killing me.

Luckily, F3 GOTY comes out tomorrow, so I can forget about NV for a while. :P

Maybe they'll release some NV info once the GOTY is out? :o
