For PC users: What rig do you got?

Post » Wed Jun 16, 2010 9:21 pm

GPU: 2x MSI GTX560-ti Twin Frozr II SLI,
CPU: AMD X6 1055 @ 3.9Ghz
PSU: Corsair TX750
RAM: Play Triple 6GB DDR3 1600mhz CL8

Crysis 2 @ 1920x1080 over 100FPS in action.
with Vsync ON - always 60 FPS without any drop.

NV control panel: AA x 32Q and x8 samples
NV settings: high quality

But this is still only DirectX 9.
On DX11 wont be so good i guess.

Alienware M17R3
i7 2720QM
6GB RAM
750GB HDD
GForce 460m 1.5GB
3D Vision bundle

That's the rig I'm playing on right now.
I have run Crysis 2 on Extreme with everything maxed out
at 1920x1080 and still averaged 25 fps and 20 in 3D
If I turn it to very high I get 32-35 fps and if I go to
High I'll get 42 fps and still get 30+ in 3D.
So it's very playable even at the extreme setting but don't see
much difference between high to extreme except in the lighting.
I never get any lag or slowdown though no matter what setting I
play at but high does run the smoothest......

Only thing that's lacking for me is the gfx card, but I'm not an actual serious gamer - I've got a good rig for video editing and graphic design.

HP xw8600 Server Tower running:

2x Xeon Quad Core @ 3.2 ghz each
128gb Ram
Nvidia GTX460 Overclocked to 470 specs

Runs Crysis on EXTREME 1920x1080p and in stereo 3D
