Nvidia GTX460 Overclocked to 470 specs
One thing to note is that just because you're running the card at the same frequency as a GTX 470 it isn't going to be the same performance. They're completely different architectures. If you do understand that, then in the future to avoid confusion, you should just say what the core / mem clock is.

Q9550 OC to 3.4 on 1.168vcore with Venemous X Cooler
GA-EP45-UD3P
Mushkin Blackline 2x2GB DDR2 800
750GB HDD
SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold Power Supply
HIS 5850 with iCoolerV @ 1.18v 850/1200 when playing Crysis 2 @ 1.088 (stock) 725/1000 for other games and surfing.
Antec 902 with all fans turned down to lowest setting
Windows 7 x64 Professional

I get no lag on high and very high. Have not tried extreme. I would like to ask everyone with MONSTER RIGS like 2x or 3x GTX580s what do you use that for? If games please list the games you play. I just find it as a waste of money but of course it is your money and you are free to do whatever you want but still......at $500 a pop that's some serious dough.

Asus P5Q SE PLUS
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz @ 4.1Ghz - 1.3625v
2x2Gb DDR2-800 @ DDR2-910 (1:1 with FSB) 5-5-5-15 - 1.9v
MSI R5770 HAWK 1gb 875Mhz/1200Mhz @ 1025Mhz/1350Mhz - 1.3v
1tb SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 32mb
3 x 120mm Cooler Master Case Fans
Cooler Master Hyoer 101 CPU Heatsink
650w Antec PSU
Plain Black Rosewill Case
Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate

CPU never goes above 57° C, and then only when under heavy load for several hours.

In Crysis 2 I can get steady 60fps on Very High @ 720p. Steady 30+fps on Extreme.

In the Crysis 1 benchmark tool (set to 720p, DX10, all settings Very High, AAx2) I can average 29fps with no overclocking. With all overclocking applied, it jumps to 43fps.

Built this 3 years ago (well, GPU is newer) and I think I've squeezed every possible extra bit of performance out of it...without liquid cooling.

Just curious if my specs will be able to run Crysis 2 at high settings.

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

Radeon HD 4850 1GB

12G DDR3.

You should be fine!

I have:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+

Radeon HD 4770 512 MB

3 GB DDR2

And I can run it max fps (60) at gamer (version 1.0) or high (version 1.1).

It runs at cca. 40 fps at very high (version 1.1).

It runs at cca. 25 fps at extreme (version 1.1).

Completly playable at all settings.

I had a Dell XPS 1730 Laptop with a 2.4 Core 2, Nvidia 8700GT, 2 gig DDR2 and it couldnt play the single player although it played the demo quite well! So I rushed to a Tigerdirect store and bought an AMD phenom 1090t Black X6 OC to 4.0 ghz, ATI 6870, and 1 stick of 4 gig DDR3 1600 mem. Now im in the best settings and its just gorgeous! best $650 ive thrown at a game hahaha

For sure runs smoothly at "highest" settings in Crysis 2, not sure how to check FPS though.
The original Crysis, with "very high" settings on everything but motion blur (off, I hate that) at 1920x1080 4xAA - 40 FPS average :)

I got a pretty medium PC...

Pentium (R) Dual core CPU E5300 @2.60 GHz

4 GB of DDR2

ATI Readeon HD 5500 Series 1GB GPU

Windows 7 Ultimate (32 Bit).

Will upgrade board after the summer but happy enough for now can play on all setting from High to Extreme.

not checked FPS yet, but happy for the time being anyhow.
