Specs:

i7 2600k OC at 4.5 Ghz
ASUS P8 P67 Deluxe Mobo
GTX 470 in SLI with 2 Setsugen GPU coolers
Win 7 Utimate

This rig runs CRYSIS in 1920 x 1080 with Vsync and 16Q on max settings with 50 to 70 FPS.
* I hope to run crysis 2 on max with good framerate*
If you can run crysis at max with that framerate, I suggest you go down a little on the Anti-aliasing (maybe 8 or 8Q) and try to force transaprency AA on the nVidia drivers. Though it didn't work right at the beginning, it works really fine now, and it REALLY looks a lot better with TAA at x2 or x4... It will get your fps a little down, but it's worth it.

My suggestion is to put FSAA at x8 and TAA at x2, maybe x4... Big difference!

BTW, what are you using to cool down your brand new sandy brigde i7? You have got some serious OC on that chip!!!

The Sandy Bridge processors have much higher overclocking potential, its not unheard of to get 5.0GHz and beyond on an aftermarket air cooling system.

AMD Phenom II X4 925 Processor, ~2.8GHz
4GB of RAM DDR2 (saving up to upgrade to 8GB)
ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 (also hoping to save up for an HD 6950, maybe run both with Crossfire :P)
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
500GB Hard Drive

Any opinions on how well Crysis 2 will run on High/Ultra High on my current rig would be great!!!

CPU: Intel i7 950 3.06GHz
RAM: Corsair Dominator 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600MHz
GPU: MSi Radeon HD 6970 2GB
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s
PSU: Corsair Professional Series AX850 850W

I also have a Blu-ray drive and an OCZ Vertex 2 90GB SSD, but Crysis 2 won't be running on the SSD. That's just for the OS and some other stuff.

All inside a Cooler Master HAF X Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119225

Ordered this all a few days before Christmas, and built it Christmas morning. Bought Crysis and Warhead off Steam for 30 bucks. Went on a deal for 10 bucks the next day. Oh well, after spending as much as I did on this computer, $20 isn't much. Preordered Crysis 2 today on Steam, can't wait to play it.

cpu : intel pentium dual core e5400 2mb cache 2.7ghz , 2 cpus (@ 4.2ghz with custum water cooling ) remember pentium dualcore core performs as a c2d , it just has less cache
ram : 3 x 1gb 1333mhz ( @ 2000mhz , that means 2000mhz x3 , with custum water cooling )
{gpu : 3x XFX 9800gt (got 2 for free from my cousion ) 3 way sli supported on 9800gt with latest drivers ( both cards over clocked with custum water cooling )
GPU Clock MHz : 550mhz ( @ 1000mhz )
GPU Clock MHz : 1375mhz ( @ 1850mhz )
Memory Size MB : 1024mhz ( 1280 mb with 256mb ram shared )
Memory Clock MHz : 1400mhz ( @2000 mhz ) }
OS : micro soft windows 7 ultimate
all of my drivers are updated , graphics drivers are hacked ones for superior performance , i played games like crysis warhead , crysis , gta4 , prototype , cod mw2 , nfs shift , nfs hot pursuit 2010 ect with out any lag , with settings all maxed out but with 1024 x 768 and one resulution as any more is of no use . and i can push my cpu to higher clocks , and can manage to push my gpu furthur too , so you think i can play crysis 2 at exelent frame rates ? i am confident that i can

Hello there fellow Crysis fans!

I cant wait for PC demo to find out how it will work on my rig!

I have pretty neat cpu:
i5 650 (2x3.2GHZ) working on 2x3.84 GHz

with 4GB of DDR3 1600 GHZ ram to work with

and P7P55 LX motherboard to keep it all together

also OCZ SSD drive for ultimate speed

My weakpoint is GPU (HD4850), but specially for Crysis 2 I am gonna upgrade it when demo comes up!

I am thinking about HD6950 but have not decided yet.

I've just bought a 6950 2GB and modded it to a 6970 @ stock :D (I sure hope Crysis 2 will be the first game to make real nice use of DX11!). Right now it's being propelled by an E8400 @ 4GHz. Thinking about buying a I5 2500K. My decision will depend on how this setup runs i.e. how CPU dependent the game will be. So, even though I'm pretty sure it wont include DX11, bring on the demo!! ^_^

Intel Q9550 @ 3.0GHz
Asus Rampage Formula
4GB Kingston Hyperx DDR2 (1200mhz)
BFG GeForce GTX295 Rev 1
Windows 7 Premium 64bit
2 x WD 500GB RAID 0

Been playing Crysis @ High 2xAA NM and Warhead @ Enthusiast 4xAA on Hard Difficulty all month (40+ FPS)

Hoping i wont have to upgrade for Crysis 2, as i build the one above to play Crysis at Max

Thinking of a i7 2600K, Asus Maximus IV Extreme and 6GB DDR3 2000MHz for late 2011/early 2012

Some of my hardware is a little outdated and I can't afford an upgrade.
I can run the first Crysis at about 30-50 FPS on Ultra High.
I'm a little worried, but as I said, I can't afford an upgrade.

-Gigabyte UD3L
-BFG GTX260 Maxcore55 OC (Nvidia of course!)
-Intel Core2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz
-4GB G.Skill DDR2 800MHz
-Windows 7 Professional (64)

Alienware Aurora ALX
Core i7 950 2.8GHZ
6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1666
Radeon HD 5770 CrossFire X OC (895mhz GPU, 1400Mhz mem)

Right now, I get around 40 FPS on High, 4X AA @ 1920*1080, so hopefully Crysis 2 will run at the same frame rate on DX11 very High due to their super optimized CryEngine 3 :)
