The main question in case of the CPU in this game we should(after looking at all pages of this topic) ask ourselves if this game is not only Ghz and Core heavy but if this game is also Cache Heavy and that can make big difference on some of the rigs showed here. Since in DX11 crytek said it will use max 8 CORES!! not to mention the RAM, but for dx10 probably it will use max 4(API limitation or something like that).

Asus M4A77 MotherBoard
AMD Athlon X4 640 3GHz
Nvidia GTX 460 768Mb (From Palit)
4Gb RAM (cant remember the speed but it's DDR2 memory)
250Gb HDD (cant remember what that was... mayby samsung...)

my friend got me the leaked version of crysis 2 so i tested it out and it's good looking game that runs smoothly on this rig (medium spec 62 FPS alltime, high spec over 30 FPS, resolution is 1440 X 900)
i will buy this game after i got my car fixed first :D

Great... my rig is better but not by a ton, and I run in 1920x1080. Guess the demo will tell me for sure whether I need a second 460 to SLI. Of course, I have an OCed 1gb card, too.
