verbose...
u should work for bethesda as the dlc writter or something, anyways my idea is that in some way continue the thalmor war, or do what verbose said EXCEPT as the 3rd dlc so we wont have to w8 4 the exclusive to end, the 2nd dlc should be horse armor to finish microsofts contract ;)

This is almost what i think will happen or should
Actually wrote this out for the last thread but thought i would fit it in here for you to check out

New playable race :Maormer(http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Maormer)
new continent/land mass :Pyandonea(http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Pyandonea)
New mounts: sea serpent/creatures (water based) for transport between areas of the Pyandonea island mass
New dungions and quests:underwater caverns leading to interior island caverns

main quest extention: A message from a unknown sorce arrives by carrier stating that the dragonborn is required in a land far away the Pyandonea islands are under attack by Sanguine as he has descovered that the island is likely to hold many secrets involving ancient artifacts that could tear Nirn in 2 if used or in the his hands
the DLC would include a quest into Sanguine realm of oblivion for a battle to close his entrance into Nirn
the phyjjic order meet the dragonborn in pyandonea to create a deverse plan to reclaim the artifacts of the 8 original divines that bestowed the life energy of themselves to create Nirm on the godly artifacts known only as the (tools of creation)
Sword :judgement
Shield: protection
armor The savior
bow: direction
axe: Consequence
Boots: Initiative
Gloves:Hand of gods
Helmet: Redemption
The items are then placed in a box in a shrine of the 8 divine
the shrine changes the items into a artifact of the divine gods that is used later to close the grasp that sanguine has on Nirn forever

1 Item for each of the gods
the dungeons are
6 on the new land mass and 2 in the north western region of tamriel (small portion of upper north western map of skyrim )

each of the dungeons are completely hidden and some require using a shovel to find the entrance

New magics (water and serpent based)
spell creation
mage portals conjured by the player to travel to and from skyrim and pyandonea

New players using the new race start in Pyandonea and get a vision to go help in skyrim as the dragonborn
the player awakes as a prisoner same plot as the usual skyrim questline once in skyrim

as a leveled character you will just be contacted in game by a courier

let me know what you think and add what ever you like just some ideas about a area that has yet been seen in a very long time in Nirn history

So I love your Idea for the "Way of the Voice" skill tree it would be a great way to use up all these spare dragon souls I have too. Everything you mentioned about magic I'm all in for, like the powerfull telekenies's. I just got to say thou that the last bit of extra dlc you posted about, the aftermath, the factions, as a player who plays a strictly mage charecter on one of my saves I would love to join the the psijic order! Also my own thoughts, I want a DLC that explains what happend to the Dwemer, I NEED TO KNOW! After I did the side quest Arniel's Endeavor it just left me hanging and not revealing what happend to them, are they dead? are they in a differnet planet?/universe?/plane of oblivion? Plz giv that answer to me!

re: Great War II - I like the idea of taking the fight to the Thalmor after the Civil War questline, but I'd prefer to call it "March of the Dragonborn." You'd unite all of Tamriel under the banner of the dragonborn and be the next Emperor. All the while roflstomping the Thalmor. New quest areas could include critical areas of the other provinces. After that, you can expect the Thalmor to get pretty desperate and somehow pull Talos out of the heavens. So the world crumbles around you at the moment of victory and there is only one choice for the dragonborn. :D

Heck to make it interesting have a few other ambitious dragonborn around. I mean you're rare, but not that rare. What if some random guard somewhere else really WAS the dragonborn and killed a dragon?

It's probably not going to happen, but High Rock. Normally, I'd want one province one game, but I feel High Rock is too small to warrant its own, after the size of Skyrim. Some might say that they might/should bundle it with another province in a new game, but that is essentially what would be the case with a dlc. Plus, IMO the only two provinces it would make sense to bundle High Rock with are Skyrim and Hammerfell, due to proximity.

The Falmer rise from thier homes and attack in numbers. No more fight 2-3 enemies. More like have fun fighting 10 Falmer at once and that's just a small group.

There's no need for a DLC about the Dwemer. It's already pretty well established in the lore what happened to them. I mean, it's a little vague, but the general idea is there. They tried to achieve near-godhood by manipulating the Heart of Lorkhan using Kagrenac's tools (Keening, Sunder, and Wraithguard), and it ripped them all from existence. All except one, that is. In Morrowind, you meet a man named Yagrum Bagarn, who was outside the mortal plane when this occurred, so when he came back to this world, he was the last one.

Yeah I agree there should never be any DLC about dwemers it would destroy whole charm of them

The less you know of a thing, the more fascinating it could be -i'm ok with the dwemer as they are, even more because the in game books explain a lot of them (are they still there perhaps ?)

It's "Hearthfire". The name of a month in tamriel's calendar.

By the way, it reminds me this sentecne from the first trailer of Skyrim : "And when the truth finally dawns, it dawns in fire". I wonder whether they already planned the two first DLCs at that time...

The next DLC should be as big as the Shivering Isles, if not bigger. I would love to have it take place in Pyandonea (See: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Pyandonea) .

Yeah maybe not another province of Tamriel, but another plane in Oblivion, now that's an option. Maybe a hunt/most dangerous game type DLC with Hircine? Certainly would want more unique items like Shivering Isles had.

Nothing to do with a different province.

Its called Skyrim, not High Rock.

I like it if it is a part of a province that is just across the border. I think is stupid when people suggest whole provinces or areas way across Tamriel. I think they have no chance of getting their suggestions.

I think Orsinium will feature in a dlc as it is just across the border up in the mountains just south of Skyrim as you go into Hammerfell. I am guessing that is probably closer to or more accessible from Skyrim than it is mainland Hammerfell anyhow.

I think the Redoran (one of the Dunmer 5 great houses) city of Black light in the far northwest of Morrowind (Didn't feature in the Morrowind game) is another high probability. I think seeing the Redoran style houses and architectural just across the border will suit Skyrim.

That and maybe Solstheim which was a Nord island and still has the Skaal Nords living there but it was handed over to the Dunmer when refugees from Vvardenfell moved there after the Morrowind crisis. Solstheim during Bloodmoon was a werewolf quest so it could tie in with the Companions quest line.

I want to see Winterhold built up as part of a dlc. And have your own castle home built there that sits in the centre of town (where the ruined houses are at present) overlooking the Mages guild.

I mean, they could do that random stuff that other games do and go along with a holiday. If they did halloween I could see the game having either a perma night area or introducing a season of complete darkness which begins to change the landscape to make it a bit creepier. Introducing more monsters and such.

You may say why do halloween stuff when most people just got DG, well creepy is just more fun xD

Can you imagine christmas armor? Great a big fat santa heavy armor set lol.

If no holiday DLC they should really just expand on some of the ideas they already have in the game. Expand on the marriage, make some more marriage options (like serana since so many want her, and the people objecting are mainly just saying that they dont like the current marriage system), introduce some new weapons and armor, add a new quest line, more houses, maybe a new city, kids, new spells, I mean all they need to do is look at some of the mods out on the PC and they can get some good ideas.

OOOH AND A FREAKING GIANT SERPENT IN THE WATER!!!!!!!!!

Do you know how creepy it is to be underwater and just see a massive shadow slither by in front of you not knowing what it is?

I kept trying to swim further and further out scared, just to see if something would eat me when I got out far enough.

But no, nothing ate me. I got bored and went back when I realized nothing in the water would hurt me lol.

Seeing as to how you cant fight underwater I guess it'd have to swim higher up to the surface of the water when you jump out, and that it'd need a distance attack as well. Like ice breath or something.

Having an insane invasion to add into the war would be interesting. Although it would probably make the most sense if the high elves started trying to take over the empire, and it'd be a side quest chain starting after you finished the quest for either the imperials or the stormcloaks. So the remainder of both armies band together to keep the high elves out who are openly torturing and executing people in a city they took over, changing the design of the city.

And maybe you'd see mini battles taking place in random areas between the factions.

And also the marriage ideas I listed above in an earlier post xD

that wouldnt be bad but why would would it make sense for the high elves? did i miss something? haha but i think itd be sweeter if the cat people did it because i get bad vibes from them but also it would be sweet if the ruler i mentioned was insanly evil and you get many options to torture him if you go that way in the questline

Well the Thalmor if I got this right, threatened to wipe out the empire if they didn't do certain things, such as ban the worship of Talos.

If you follow the guard at the intro of the game, and not the stormcloak, he explains how the Thalmor were a major threat to the empire and why a treaty had to be made. It's also why they hesitate to execute you if you're a high elf, they wonder if you're one of them. Probably a threat to the treaty, but like every other hesitation with every race picked, they pass it off and try anyways.

I always assumed the Thalmor were mainly high elves but I could always be wrong
