Future DLC Suggestions (Not Dawnguard) - Thread #6

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 7:47 pm

haha alright now you mentioned thalmor now im on track... i dont know the actual names i just call them nords, orc or darkelf.... but that would be sweet but if they teamed with dark elfs:p i think dark elves look evil as [censored] hahaha do you board readers think bethesda reads these and takes them into concideration?

No idea I only made an account cause I'm tired of no info on when PS3 gets dawngaurd lol

They've made posts at times and close threads so they must though.

And dark elves, I'd be one if they didn't need to be so wrinkly. That turned me away.

I liked the Khajit for a while or however it's spelled, but I mainly use an imperial and a nord. Hopefully DG gets out soon.

Anywho back on topic so we don't make mods mad, they could always update the vampires and werewolves more xD

I wouldn't mind growing out full wings and having a side quest to gain more of a demonic form of the VL, like with large bat wings and horns or something. And the wings actually being used for attacks like harpooning people.

I say this because people complain that the transformations don't level up with you. Your spells don't gain more damage potential in the VL form unlike your destruction magic and such. Some complain that at high levels it no longer seem viable. So finding a way to make yourself a pureblood VL, or something greater, a new breed of vampire altogether using the Volkahir strand as a base, infecting random NPC's (while having those who can't be infected for a while). And having an equivalent for werewolves, maybe a halloween thing. When infected the random townsfolk just wander off and dissapear after a while.

And add in an random spawner in towns. Wiping it out once and never again seeing anyone is annoying. You could say its unrealistic to add in that spawner, but so is the inabiltiy to kill children in the game. Just say that the children grew up in that town and thats your random spawner lol.

These ideas are just randomness, butcher them how ya want

like the screen gets hazy multicolored, and you start seeing random monsters that aren't there and so you swing at nothing and you spazz out and think you died but you didnt? Then you see people trying to help you but you see them as evil monsters and you kill them and wake up in jail?

Could get some dragon gameplay in through these "drugs" and fly around and burn people down.

But really all people see is you running around flapping your arms screaming Yol

The Falmer rise from thier homes and attack in numbers. No more fight 2-3 enemies. More like have fun fighting 10 Falmer at once and that's just a small group.
So after Dragons and vampires raiding towns, you want Falmer too?

No wonder the young generations of Skyrim are all mutant invincible super children. With dangers like that, only invulnerable super humans survive. Who needs a Dovahkin?

The future DLC should be set in Artaeum with the Psijic order requiring your help as it's main quest. As on the island Artaeum there will be completely different architecture and the island's flora and fauna will include green pastures misty forests and swamps.

In that DLC you might find out why the island disappeared for a century.

Whatever Bethesda does with Hearthfire, I bet it's gonna be darn interesting.

I was irritated when I heard Dawnguard was going to be about Vampires. Turns out I was stupid for thinking that - it's an awesome DLC. Thus, even if Hearthfire is about magic (which I hate only slightly less than Vampires), I suspect it will be a gas. :-)

I would rather have them create DLC that expands on the vanilla Skyrim experience. More guild quests (good ones), more unique quests and different outcomes to quests. Perhaps even extending the storyline of a guild after you have become it's leader.

Has it already been confirmed that it will be named Hearthfire? And why chickenkungfu, is it about magic? Perhaps it'll be about the month Hearth fire. Still hoping for Artaeum though.

I certainly wouldn't mind a DLC along the lines of Shivering Isles. An entire questline taking place on a plane of Oblivion. The lore points to all kinds of crazy planes ruled by the Daedric Princes. It could also include lots of interesting content since it wouldn't simply be a new "tacked-on" area in Skyrim.

That would be a nice idea for the second DLC.

In order for this to be accepted, however, I think it would need to have a really good reason to spend an entire DLC in Oblivion. Shivering Isles has already been done. Wouldn't want to beat a dead horse.

A tad off topic.. but speaking of Oblivion..

I would LOVE to see a TES game where you choose a Daedra and begin questing in a plane of Oblivion.. gaining levels, perks, gear, etc.. moving then to Tamriel on the whims of your prince. An anti-hero for some reason. Perhaps an agent of Azura or something?

What do you all think?

Perhaps the second DLC should avoid anything that can attack towns since dragons and vampires already do a decent job at that. Otherwise the third DLC might have to be called Desolation.

I would be pleased if second DLC would be about Elfs, their culture and with good storyline. But most important for me would be making a piece-of-art forest locations. You know, starting DLC with a memorable first visit knowing that their aiming at you, but you cant see them. Bethesda is capable of making even more breathtaking forest than CD Projekt Red in The Witcher 2.

I agree. Always enjoyed the Elves in the Elder Scrolls Universe. I wouldn't expect the graphics to be "breathtaking" though.

Graphics won't change, but Skyrim has breathtaking views the way it is right now.

Sometime, in the future, my intrigue would rest with the Dwemer as a (full) DLC/TES.

I've been infatuated with them since Morrowind and understand all the lore.

I may be biased, however, because of my love of Morrowind.. but that game really put the EMP in emphasis on the fact that there was some crazy stuff going on with everything.
