Game crashing to desktop Golden cat mission. : Othor Games

On the second assassination quest I am going from the top floor on Dr. Galvani's Office to the Clavering Blvd. It's crashed consistently leaving this area 3 times already in a row. To add to that, I tried the first floor entrance and the game crashed. I'm attempting to reinstall the game.
Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I got an error message, but can't get it to reproduce.
Tried loading a previous save and it does the same thing.

Specs are a Gigbyte ud3 quad core
GeForce 570

Do you have the game installed to the C:\, or to another directory on the computer?

Either way, try verifying the integrity of the game cache and see if that works

I have verified the cache twice and reinstalled. Same problem persists. Also, everything is installed on c:/

I already tried to verifying the integrity of the game cache.
I downloaded the latest nvidia drivers too.
the thing that bugs me is that I already played 5 hours and I've crossed this area several times.

Yeah. Still crashing after I tried to exit the Galvani office.

Sorry for double-posting. So I tried to go directly to the golden cat area and immediatly return on Clavering Blvd. No problem here. Then I tried the same thing with the Galvani's office. Enter and exit. Still crashing on the exit.

Same issure here, exact same error when attempting to enter Golden Cat and Distillery.

I am having this exact same issue in the exact same spot. I should've read the forums more thoroughly, but I did end up posting about this as well.

I noticed one of the file directories under the error was Win32, and I personally use Win64, is this the problem?

I should also point out I'm using Win 64 and I got the same "Fatal Error" message that is posted up top. I was able to get the error again, but literally the exact same error message.

The only fix i've found is to restart the mission from the "Mission Select" option.

I've tried restarting from the "Mission Select", and it did not work for me. Maybe it's karma for poisoning all those people.

Looks like this isn't limited to the PC. I'm having the same problem leaving Dr. Galvani's office during the Golden Cat mission on the Xbox360. Game freezes every single time. Someone on the PS3 forum also reported this as well.

same here they better fix it , especially since i spent 60 $ for this game , and only got 3 hours of game time

Any of devs are watching the forums? There will be patch for this? I have same problem,iv'e got Original copy,tryed playing on Steam game still crashing when i am try to attempt Golden Cat. Then i tryed with many cracks and fixes.Nothing helps...game is still unplayable from that moment ffs.If anyone have saves after this mission,can you send me PM? Please

I was talking to someone yesterday and sent my save files to them. Hopefully we will get some more insight soon. svcks we can't play it at the moment though.

Yep, we're looking into some of the issues you're reporting, and I might reach out to some of you via PM to get more information.

A few questions for you...

1. What is your chaos level? (High/Low)
2. Did you sleep dart or kill an NPC just prior to exiting Galvani/entering Distillery?
3. Did an NPC notice and ‘alert’ on you prior to exiting Galvani/entering Distillery?
4. When this issue was experienced, what were your powers and their level?
5. What was in your inventory at the time of the issue?
6. How many hours had you been playing when this issue occurred?

I can complete this Quest normally,weird but i can't go to Golden Cat area(there are 3 entrances to Golden Cat obv,tryed all of them,still error

). I am waiting for fix,i searched almost whole internet to try pass this and reinstalled game and Steam 10times and downloaded 10 cracks and fixes nothing helps ;__;. sorry for my english.
