Soon my friend, soon! I'm curious to find out how they handle later seasons. There is an interview in UK GQ this month, with Emilia Clark. Who is an absolute angel btw. I had no idea she was 25! I felt guilty for fancying Daenrys because I though she was 15 or something!

Anyway, she says that the show is going to start being less true to the books and more of an "Adaptation." I hope they do it well. I can imagine they'll have difficulty with some of the epic war scenes in Clash of Kings.

There's an insane amount of [censored] and underage six in the books - how have the conservatives not jumped all over this yet? Is it because it's fantasy literature? If it was a videogame FOX fables news would be climbing walls.

There's some ridiculous scenes in Feast for crows. Let's just say the term "Myrish Swamp" was used. I mean, come on G.R.R.M! That's absurd!

I wasn't aware of this. They'll most likely leave this out though.

It's absolutely filthy in parts. To be fair there's a fair amount of it in the first season. It's not gratuitous though, it fits with the story.

They upped the ages of most of the characters in S1 by about three or four years.

Only the Starks. It would look a bit silly if Robb and Jon were actually 15 on the wall and at war. Danerys looks a bit older than 13-14 in the books.

I'm quite a few chapters into Game of Thrones. I'm really enjoying the books because there's more explanation behind everything. I can understand, they can't explain everything in the series like they do in the books.

I finished Feast for Crows last night. it was good, I felt like not nearly enough time and effort was spent on Arya and Victarion. I wanted to know a lot more about their stories. Lots of the Brienne and Cersei chapters could have been avoided.

I DL'd Dance with Dragons £12.99! I swear they get more and more expensive. Finally a book where all of the characters I like!

I just finished watching the season finale of Game of Thrones. I took my time between episodes because I wanted to wait until season two was right around the corner. I'm a quarter way through the first book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, it's fantastic.

I'm also curious as to what major house is everyone's favorite at the moment?

Mine is House Stark at the moment, but as I read further into the series it might change.

There's been some controversy but it's HBO, nobody's ever surprised at porm on HBO. And it's not always conservatives that say stupid things- there was some nosebeard at the NY Times who wrote a review that said "I don't know any woman who would watch this."

I read on Wikipedia that GRRM believes that only a strong double-standard can explain the lack of objections to an axe going through someone's head, while the male reproductive organ going into a woman causes aversion. He's right.

I like House Stark, the Targaryen's and the Martell's. I find the Greyjoy's fascinating too. I HATE the Frey's.

Two things I love of Baratheon.
1. Melisandre
2. Davos
3. Stannis
In order.

Then the awesome Asha Grejoy (Yara in TV).

Clash of Kings has so many grotesque [censored] and torture scenes that if HBO didn't cut them off it would be banned.
