Hardest enemy you have encountered so far?

What's up with these frost trolls.. They are easy to beat for my character.. I just cast some fireballs at them, easy :)

The hardest for me was the last boss from the collage in winterhold quest.. The women u kill and take the staff of magnus from... Hard as hell!

frost trolls are hard
spriggans are very easy to kill for me, use fire spells also use fire spells on trolls, it stunts their regeration and hurts them more

Hehe I`m currently trying to figure out how to beat the frost troll, propably end up sneaking past him since it feels just impossible. It`s health keeps regenerating!

I seen a lady meditating at the previous emblem before the frost troll so what I did was I lured it there and she could die while I ran past it, she was my sacrifice.

Some stupid named lich in the wilderness that I had to run from after a few untimely deaths. Casts a mean fireball.

I didn't struggle too badly with the Frost Troll on the way to High Hrothgar, what i did struggle with on the way to High Hrothgar (well more like struggled/died to...) was the sabre cat... Just going over the hill, past the crescent the sabre was just lurking there. Pounces on me and eats my face... Had to reload and walk my way back up again :(

That damn troll on the 7000 steps -_- and giants
I didn't find one there but did at the end of that undercover thing in the embassy in the dungeon and was [censored]. Also a frost or ice or snow bear at the top of a random mountain.

Either giants/mammoths or frost wraiths in general.

Arch conjurers. Pairs of them are BAD news. Im level 60 almost and its impossible to get close to them without scaling down the difficulty or cheating.

I was trying to play on Adept (or whatever the level is just under Master) and I finally gave up after this fight.

Fought a conjurer who luckily aggro'd two spiders. I was shooting arrows at her and her fire atronach while she wipped the spiders. Then she came for me. I barely killed her. Then I hear a BIG growl and I'm like oh [censored]....

Bear comes around...just royally beats me and I use every potion and food left to barely beat him. WHILE I'm doing the finishing blow I hear ANOTHER GROWL. Oh gawd...I can't handle this. The second bear aggros. I sprint away. Bastard runs after me, CATCHES UP, and eats me alive. At this point I gave up, put it on Novice, and killed him in like 3 hits.

I now play on Apprentice...I just can't handle scenarios like the above and I'm tired of eating 3 turkeys, 10 horker steaks, 16 soups, 25 healing potions, 50 win/mead drinks, etc just to finish a battle on Adept. Just doesn't seem realistic.

Mine was a Dwemer Centurion in the Shimmerset Caves (A Cave full of Falmer by the way)...
Same here. I had to back him up the hallway that leads to where he is..then he stopped attacking and just moved back and forth. But his steam breath is ridiculous. Giants are pretty tough too.

Trolls are tough. At least for melee builds. For my mage trolls are easy. Flame wall+double incineration=can take five trolls at once. Of course, you'll need a ton of magicka potions. But still. No, by far the worst I've had is some random dude in a shack. By Rorikstead somewhere. I wander in and I see this hooded dude. So I figure maybe he has a quest for me or something. I don't get two steps before he turns, yells something, and reduces me to ash. It took me 4 times of loading my autosave before I could get my character turned quickly enough just to be able to leave. I've been avoiding that shack like the plague ever since. But one of these days...

Edit: Just remembered. Fighting a troll in melee is easy as a werewolf. Just charge an attack to knock it down, then go crazy while it's down. Actually, that works for just about anything. Werewolves are ridiculously powerful. Killed a dragon doing this, ([censored] epic, that fight) as well as a giant. I will say that hagravens are dangerous to werewolves. You need access to health potions to have a chance with those things. Period.

For me, the problem is the Boss Dreugers... Deathlord Dreugars or whatever the boss ones are called. It's stupid that they can one-shot me while I'm in Dragon Plate Heavy armor.

And yeah, Frost Trolls at the lower levels.

Ah yes, that frost troll was too hard for me so I lead it back a few 100 feet and then ran past it. The toughest by far is the giant though, I don't plan on killing one until lvl 20's +.

Ice wolf or frost troll imho - they're a lot harder compare to the first dragons u meet.

I'm surprised that everyone had problems with the ice troll. I guess it's because I'm a battle mage and I wrecked it with double flames.

My hardest fight was against Kronis at Shearpoint. I hit the dragon with an arrow just so I could kill him off first and then fight Kronis, that bastard took forever to kill :(

I'm not sure exactly what it was I fought, but after going to the top of some mountain to kill a dragon, before the dragon's body is even burned up a Lich (at least it looked like one, floated around and such like the ones in Oblivion do) popped out of a coffin near the word wall and started attacking. The thing easily had 10x the hp of the dragon, took me a few minutes, several healing/stamina potions and a Storm Atronach scroll to bring it down.

I'm afraid to go dragon hunting now, for fear I might run into another one before the dragon is dead.
