Hardest enemy you have encountered so far? : V

What has been the hardest enemy to beat so far for you? Where did you encounter it? Was there something special you did to win? (skill level?)

Mine`s definitely a Frost Troll (or ice troll don`t remember which one was it) on the mountain path up to the Throat of the World. The only dragon I have fought against so far (with all those soldiers helping me..) feels like a walk in the park compared to this guy. :toughninja:

Been playing with expert since the beginning.

Ah yes, that frost troll was too hard for me so I lead it back a few 100 feet and then ran past it. The toughest by far is the giant though, I don't plan on killing one until lvl 20's +.

Well, I encountered a Spriggan and an Ice Wraith at the same time, and got destroyed in seconds. However, I've killed two Ice Wraiths since then. Have yet to kill a Spriggan.

Hehe I`m currently trying to figure out how to beat the frost troll, propably end up sneaking past him since it feels just impossible. It`s health keeps regenerating!

Giants are very easy to kill. Killed my 1st 2 at level 5 outside Whiterun. They have incredibly stupid AI.

By far the hardest fight for me so far was against a spell caster that spammed fireballs continuously.

Giants, I often find myself sprinting away from their Hulk Smash attacks to the point where my character is completly worn out. When I'm out of stamina potions or can't find a rock I attempt to go all out, only to find my body floating in space....

It's pretty easy to kill them if the enviroment is on your side(Vertical standing rock), but in the wastelands I can never out run them.

Giants! I got killed in 1 hit and flew hundreds of feat into the air. It was a WTF moment but a hilariously good one

Hmmmm strongest i have beat...probably one of the variations of the vampires...idk...casters svck for me. playing a 2h orc berserker style character with heavy armor and it doesnt protect me from magic

Found a mage in a house at about lvl 10-11 last night dual wield ice spells...he wrecked my face....two shot me and slammed me against the wall...i tried 2-3 times and left...gonna try again late now that im 15, two shot a giant just before i logged out last time so maybe he will meet the same fate.

I managed to run into a dragon, saw an icon on my compass and wondered what it was. That was a tough fight, but doable. That frost troll however.....

was it the one surrounded by all the weak mages? I was caught of gaurd because they were so easy to kill and she was a nightmare.

The two times I fought a frost troll where the most challenging fights I had in the game. Both times I had a follower to help and I lured it to another NPC so it was three against one and I still struggled. At level 8 on the Throat of the World and at level 12 somewhere in the mountains. Kicker is after the second one a dragon decided to try and pick me off in my weakened state. I barely got through, luckily I had stocked up on health potions. I've unlocked fire breath since then though, so maybe my next encounter should be easier.

lol same here that Ice Troll up the mountain, I've encountered two before and that must be a monster that is a set level because I can't kill it, but it can kill me in a couple hits but luckily they are slow and easy to avoid. Now when my Assassin/Mage char gets strong enough I'm going troll hunting! :celebration:

Ive killed two dragons no problem, but that frost troll killed me in two hits. I ended up just sneaking past it. I was level 4 or 5.

What combat style is everyone using that is struggling with frost trolls?

I'm a pure mage and had no trouble killing the one on the way up the mountain stairs.

I got royally pwned by a sabretooth cat on my way to some greybeards. It one shotted my companion and then pounced me and i died in a similar fashion. I ran past it only to get pwned by an ice troll. :facepalm:

*edit* I was level 7 and using a longbow with steel arrows (thief)

Definitely Frost Trolls. I encountered my first one while exploring north and got killed in a matter of seconds. I encountered my second on the path up the huge mountain. I've given up trying to climb that mountain for the time being - I know I could probably just run past it but I'd rather kill it.
