I HATE the thalmor...

100% agree with everything you just said lol Thats exactly how i feel.
Id be interested to see numbers on whether people choose imperial or stormcloaks. I believe the Stormcloaks aren't as popular as some of the game's characters will tell you. They are pretty racist too. I found it very interesting to talk to the Altmer Legate. He basically said that the Thalmor are not only anti-human, they're against anyone who disagrees. He talks about when the Thalmor slaughtered dissenters in Hammerfell, because they weren't content with killing people in their own country.

I am as Imperial as you can get. I love Jarl Balgruuf and respect the leader of the Imperials, such as General Tullis and Legate Rikke. At the same time, im not going to let some stupid pompous elves tell me I can't worship talos. The game has numerous references about a war with the Thalmor, so there's no possible way you won't have your share of Thalmor to kill later. Its most likely you will see a Thalmor Great War DLC, after Dawnguard and the supposed Heartfire DLC, which if its true, im looking forward to that.

i agree 100%

and about youre pic.....

I despise the Thalmor and kill them on sight! I wait for an opportunity of revenge with them for their usurpation of power in Skyrim.

There is a general poll at the topp of the general discussion board. According to it last time i checked, the majority of the people who voted, voted imperial :) (i think)

Thank you. I actually just finished the series yesterday. My friends at college introduced me to the series last semester, and I watched the first season. I think I like Yoko cuz she's voiced by Michelle Ruff. And she's got a big a** sniper rifle

If there's one thing that both Imperials and Stormcloaks can sit down at the table and agree upon, it's the Thalmor.

You know, that's the word I was trying to think of to describe Altmer when the character designs for Skyrim were first unveiled! Thank you.
You're welcome. Glad I could help.
They are sassy though! There's a reason the Altmer are my favorite race.

My first impulse was to join the legion first few times around, then I learned what a dirty influence the Thalmor were on the Empire. Next I played a time or two is stormcloak and realized I had to betray my honor with the Jarls of Skyrim to do this. I decided I would take the high road from now on!

I literally just rode by three of them. I was riding back to Whiterun on a Companion's task so I didn't feel like taking the time to kill them.

That's how almost everyone feels who loves the Imperials. Other than the Jarl of Falkreath, there isn't a Jarl I would want to get rid off. Besides Balgruuf, I would wan't to get rid of Jarl Igrod or Jarl Igmund. I don't like Jarl Igmund because he's a little too cozy with the Thalmor, but he's the lesser of two evils, since Thongvar Silver-Blood is an idiot. He doesn't understand that Igmund's "Markarth Incident" was not the true cause. It was Ulfric and his "Sons of Skyrim's" constant agitation about Talos worship. If Ulfric would have kept his damn mouth shut, we wouldn't have Thalmor roaming around arresting people.

What? Dude, there are some smokin' hot Altmer out there, hawkish facial features are where it's at.
Though, maybe I'm biased since I kinda look like a bird too.

" Excuse me, but what are those horrible yellow things walking past us?"
" What, them? They're the Aldmeri Dominion! "
" Tell them I hate them! "

Kudos to the people who get the reference.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a Daggerfall reference. And I've never played that game

I agree the Jarls are local leaders, far be it for me to join forces with a foriegn nation against my own land! Yes I find much fault in Ulfric, hard to follow him, impossible for me to follow Tullius when the Thalmor pull the strings.

Nope. It's a reworded quote from a Television show and originally, it had nothing to do with the Elder Scrolls.

You hate them? That's alright. I'm sure they hate you too. After all, not everyone can be perfect...that is, not everyone can be Thalmor.

I think at the time I ended up using the word "snooty" but that wasn't quite right. "Sassy" fits them perfectly!

I'm still amazed at how the look of Altmer has been improved. I know opinions vary wildy about some of the character designs in Skryim, but IMO Altmer look incredible now, as they should. (Also Bosmer! A bit of an improvement over Oblivion maybe, hehe)
