This is ridiculous to wait for HF and all the other dlcs for the ps3 and besides Bethesda can work on other dlcs for the ps3 instead of just dawnguard

In my humble opinion, once these problems are fixed with Dawnguard and Hearthfire, it needs to be put out as an update for all of us PS3 users and not a paid DLC. Considering all of the problems with the original game and the overly ridiculous wait for these two.

But as I said, that's just my opinion.

That might be a bit much. But I think a discount on both probably would be in order. Maybe $14.99 for DG and $2.99 for HF, something like that.

I got Dishonored love it, but I didn't care that Beth 's name is on it, it's FUN and doesn't lag or glitch so I will give another chance but not with Skyrim or TES.

Sounds like some people are even angrier about this than me. And I'm pretty @%#$@&*#% angry.
I'm pretty pissed off. But in the end it's Beth who loses out. They will never get another cent from me.

Hopefully they get this sorted out this side of christmas, Skyrim was a blast despite all the slow down and glitches, its a monster of a game that i put over 300 hours into, there are very few other games where you would get that amount of value out of these days, Uncharted 3 for example lasted me about 20 hours, an update however would be welcome.

I think that they need to solve the ps3 problems (fps - savefile size) before they launch anything more to our console. I'm not optmistic about this, but i keep checking forums, maybe i still have some hope left.

I would like to know what they're thinking... every time they release a new DLC trailer, or the DLC itself, or for the second platform, ALL WHILE DOING NOTHING FOR US, not even telling us anything, it boosts the anger and frustration level for PS3 users. Better to either focus more resources on solving our problems. I think it's gotten past the point where they can cancel PS3 DLC without facing severe repercussions in terms of lost business and lack of respect. I doubt a lawsuit would do any good, but it could cost them money trying to fight it; lawyers aren't cheap.

Also, some unbalanced gamer might even resort to violence. I can see it now... they'd call him the Dawnguard Killer or some such name. We Skyrim fans don't need the bad rap that Doom got after Columbine.

And you actually think such insanity will accomplish anything?

Look, I'm angry too, OK? But don't lose perspective. They didn't beat up your mother, burn down your house, or boil your bunny. They failed to adapt a video game to your system. There's a difference.

No. They sold us a product that provided fewer features than we believed we would receive. That's not robbery, it's just failure to meet the customer's expectations. The appropriate response is to simply not buy any more of their stuff.

Also, need I remind you, PS3 DLC has NOT been cancelled. It may be imminent. We could be building our dream houses or shooting weird arrows at the sun by this time tomorrow.

idt thats at all true i think they been 2 busy trying 2 realease new dlc's for x-box and pc then contentrate on the orignal problem and there hoping they can last long enough to simpily hope we forget and keep buying there crap now not only do the have to fix 1 dlc but 3 now for us 2 use now u can go head and guess how long that take and how much money they will spend trying 2 do it true fact is this it seems like microsoft is trying 2 buy gaming companys so they dont make things for sony they r trying 2 make us sony uses not only lower then them but not even there sad fact is that they will get away with it bc unlike sony they throw u a crap load of bills and charges to give themselfs money and bc sony doesnt charge us sony is gunna end up as a forgotten company so ya idk if sony will last long with this bc remeber some ppl are blaming sony for this and r buying x-box's which means more cash lost for sony and more money for x-box to throw on buying companys that make the game

I would not choose to own two consoles either. That's all I intend to say on the subject, since I know others disagree with me.

I have a PC, and have been told that it can be adapted to play games via controller. But I want to play the DLC with my characters: Tiberius wants to join the Dawnguard. My Khajiit is intrigued by the vampires. And my Dunmer just wants to adopt kids. If I changed systems, I'd have to create new characters.

uk whats so annoying about this is that its not that hard 2 fix the problem simply restart and code it in ps3 form ya more cash lost but at least ur not getting sued for it 1 dlc ya ok watever 2 dlcs u better be careful 3 dlcs wat the hell is wrong with you! dragonborn from the start was spoose 2 be for only ps3 users 2 make up for the other 2 but instead it was used for x-box again? idk about most ppl but i want a refund of the money i spent on there damn game if this is the treatment and honisty if we have 2 sue to get a $60 back then fine but i rather get a stupid game about playing as powepuff girl then playing a game were the company slaps us in the face non stop bc there 2 lazy to just start from the begining and code it in ps3 format if other games can code it for ps3 x-box and pc they really shldnt be having any trouble with theres unless the company svcks that bad

I heard you can use xbox-savegames on pc.. is that impossible for ps3?

Undoubtedly. X-box and PC (Windows) are manufactured by the same company: Microsoft.

Sorry, Darkal, I found your last post a bit hard to follow. But it was easy enough to tell that you were angry. A lot of us are angry, frustrated too. Bethesda has been quite unfair to us, happily popping out 360 and PC DLC's while not even telling us what's up. Do lot let the fact that I'm trying to be a force of reason fool you. I am furious right now, so much so that unless this DLC issue is resolved, my Skyrim takes a one-way trip to GameStop, where it will hopefully be someone's Christmas present. As good as it would feel to send a message by breaking the disk in half and sending it to Todd Howard with a note full of words that I can't repeat here, better to give someone else a used copy so they won't buy a new one and put $59.99 in Bethesda's pocket. Better to rent or buy used every Bethesda title in future (or skip them completely), and tell every other prospective buyer to do the same. If we hit them hard enough in their pocketbook, they'll have to take us seriously.

Uhhh... Darkal? Try looking a little bit closer. They said that they're CLOSE, not closed. As in, with any luck, we PS3 users should have our DLC soon. With any luck, by Thanksgiving we'll be able to join the Dawnguard, construct our dream houses, and/or give an orphan or two good news.

It has been a difficult ordeal for us PS3 users, and burying the hatchet completely may take some time. But I do want to acknowledge Bethesda's hard work, and their willingness to work with Sony to resolve this issue.

Not trying to be rude Darkal - but I'm actually going to attempt to re-edit this post JUST so I PERSONALLY can understand what you are saying....

((not trying to be rude, but I do hope that English is just a second language for you that you are just currently learning!))

Sorry oddish, i just read another article about it once when i made the post.

The article made it sound as if we werent getting the expansions at all, but the other sites are saying we are.

Thank you for correcting me though! As for bethseda working hard to fix the problem, i will agree - but i still wont buy Bethesda's other games until I'm building my own house and can kill vampire lords.

As for the Dragonborn dlc (if we get it) I'll call it a bonus, because im not sure if they are going to count it as ((((I have no idea where he's going here)))) But i hope they do as I would feel a lot happier that they finaly gave us an update.

I just wish they gave us more information in the past. Then, maybe, we wouldn't be nearly as mad as we were before! But when we do get the dlc's - I fully intend on showing bethseda how happyI am with a my wallet! It also make it easy for me to get games because my whole family knows not to buy anything from them, but as soon as i have the dlc I'll be sure to let them know to go head and buy them.

i just hope bethesda learns a lesson from this and doesnt make the same mistakes again in the future!
