Maybe it deals with the Adamantine Tower... who knows?

Bethesda does.

When will we know?

When they decide to tell us. lol

I like the idea of Hearthfire being Magic and Thalmor base.. Someone already mentioned that a war with the Thalmor started on the 10th of Hearthfire, no?

I hope they don't do a war with the thalmor DLC that should be saved for the next game.

What if it turns out it is a DLC about cooking and domestic things, at a heart fire (fire place).

Whatever it is I just hope it will be enough to bring me back to Skyrim because Dawnguard is pretty short and repetitive.

Yeah, but it's Hearthfire, not Heartfire. Now, English isn't my first language, but isn't a hearth a part of a fireplace? And if it was a joke, sorry, but on the Internet I tend to act like Tmeperance Brennan when it comes to humour.

They can't even properly communicate a release date for DG on ps3 and PC and you expect information on the next DLC?

The title is too vague to understand something.

Honestly I don't think it has anything to do with the Hearthfire month.

Maybe is the Red mountain? a devastated Vvardenfell is a great place for an expansion.

This article may be old, but check out this line:

There's good news too if your interest in the Elder Scrolls dates back to 1996 and Daggerfall: Howard would love to treat elements of the second instalment to a makeover. "I'd like to see the city of Daggerfall redone, or Sentinel. Daggerfall should be on a giant bluff, overlooking the Iliac Bay, and we just couldn't pull it off well then."

My money is still on Orsinium and the Ashpit. There's too much supporting it. Orsinium was featured in Daggerfall.

Ashpit = receptacle below hearth that collects ash from the hearth's fire

Doubt it. Morrowind, particularly Vvardenfell, already had a game and two expansions devoted to it. Orsinium is more likely because:

1. Malacath has in-game stats, despite the inability to meet him. He's level 100, far stronger than the other Princes.

2. Orsinium has been conveniently moved to the Skyrim/Hammerfell border according to in-game load screens. The two previous Orsiniums were between Menevia and Wayrest, nowhere near Skyrim.

3. It is revealed that Orcs inhabited Skyrim long before Nords ever set foot in Skyrim by the wise woman of Dushnik Yal.

4. A new war is stirring with the Dominion and Empire. The Empire might want to recruit Orsinium and finally grant it provincial status, while the Thalmor may wish to restore Malacath back to Trinimac, Auri-El's greatest knight and the strongest of the et'Ada.

O_o That last point about Trinimac.... I would love to see that.

Whatever my previous hopes for Hearthfire, this is now my one desire.

So I deleted a rude post.

But looking at the Reddit post, and trying to figure out what you guys are saying is "in a nutshell" when it's clearly an Oblivion screen shot of Wizard's Tower, I confess to being baffled. And it's obvious if you paid an iota of attention to the latter DLCs from Oblivion, all of the FO3 DLCs and now Dawnguard that Bethesda has moved away from simple housing mods. If the dude is trying to imply that the next DLC is a housing mod, well, color me skeptical.

But... speculate as you will. Just abide by the posting rules please. Thanks.

I found a amulet in morrowind called hearth fire. Maybe the amulet has a connection to the next DLC.

I like the Orsinium/Malacath idea and the arguments in support of it.

A whole new province in a DLC is too much to ask for, but a new city (Orsinium) seems possible.

Also, in Skyrim Beth took pains to make real distinctions and tensions between the various races, and spent time creating the Orc strongholds. It would be nice if this (very welcome) development was continued in a DLC devoted to the Orcs.

Here's hoping the 'Orsinium Thing' theory is correct.

Well, I was exactly as skeptical when he leaked the first Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer DLC, specifically, this description:

Mass Effect? 3: Rebellion
The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade’s jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons (Reegar Carbine, Krysae Sniper Rifle, Cerberus Harrier) as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes from species that have lost lives or whole planets to the Reapers: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues – hold the line!

And not only was he right on the money, this is even the exact description Bioware used for the DLC itself!

Then, after that DLC was out, he leaked the next one:

Mass Effect? 3: Earth
The fighting is fiercest when it's your home at stake! Mass Effect 3?: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!

And he was dead on again! Seeing a pattern here?

Now he says the next Skyrim DLC is gonna be in some ways similar, or can be summarized by picturing the "Wizard's Tower" DLC from Oblivion. I don't blame you for being skeptical, but I stopped disbelieving when he practically confirmed that he has some access to inside information.

Yep. He knows something about Mass Effect, a series developed by a different company under a different publishing label.

Also, I don't really think you can call 2 things a pattern. Now, if he had been able to predict/reveal the content of several DLCs all done by different companies (Minerva's Den, Undead Nightmare, Harley Quinn's Revenge, the Mass Effect ones, Deus Ex: Missing Link, etc), I might be more open to believing him about this one.

So yeah, I'm going to remain skeptical.

Maybe the guy has connections with people who work for the certification process in Microsoft and or Sony

That would explain his knowledge of not yet released content.

It's clear by his post that all he wanted to imply is that Hearthfire has something to do with mages... it was obvious to anyone who played Oblivion that the Image was from Wizard Tower!

If anything, I'd say he knows people working for EA or Bioware, most likely in the marketing department. If he knew people with connections the certification process for DLC for either console, I think he'd have given a lot more info about a lot more games than just Mass Effect 3.
