Hints found about the next DLC Found in 1.8 Beta

The lore obviously cries for werebears.
Besides animal type, how different would they be from the Underworld-Wolf? If anything they would be stronger and that's about it. Bethesda really did screw themselves over by having the Werewolf instead of the Werebears. Like I said in that one thread about them. At least with the Werecrocodiles it only occurs to Argonians and it probably would be water based instead of land based. So it would be a unique from of Lcanthropy.

Am I the only one concerned that with all this talk about the DLC dealing with Dragonborn? I will be upset if you have to become dragonborn to partake in the DLC. Bad enough you have to become dragonborn to do the cilvi war.

Ooh this is a good point aswell. Hadn't considered that.

I agree, hence why I said perhaps they should be released "no matter how gimmicky." They don't neccesarily have to be functionally the same just because they're both wereforms, but somehow I doubt Beth would make them super different, either. I've said before I think they screwed that lore over just by implementing werewolves first, but if werebears are added in, at LEAST the lore is saved, yknow? Though yeah, obviously since Skyrim is supposed to be werebear capitol, it'd be really nice if they were actually unique and memorable in some way.

Er..Yeah that might be problem. But then again I don't think beth would, I'm pretty sure there will be an alternative of some kind. I hope.

wow you bring up a really good point I mean we might even have to beat the MQ to play the dlc
which could be really annoying i hope they handle it like they did with the *oblivion spoiler* sheo daedric quest and the shivering islesdlc

It is to be expected that some of the DLC (at least one) will add to Dragonborn storyline. The Last Dragonborn is too important of a figure to not get such treatment.

Spoiler
Had to be Dragonborn to finish the Dawnguard questline, so it's not unlikely.

I don't think it would because that area didn't have dragons. But we where playing in that area during a time period where they weren't revived yet.

i hope you have to have atleast beaten part of the main quest, maybe up to see the grey beards at least. This dlc could add lore/be focused around the dragonborn and his role in mopping the floor with anti mundus folk.

Dunno if it would require completion, but I'm willing to bet a good amount of players have Argonian and Khajiit characters that they don't touch the main quest with because they're not buying what's stated in The Book of the Dragonborn. It'd at least require them to fight their first dragon, I'm guessing (this is the quest that triggers some NPC dialog about you being Dragonborn), and yeah, that's enough to mess with such characters.

The same thing the Champion of Cyrodiil has to do with the Shivering Isles.

I think you will just need to finish the DRagon Rising and maybe visit the Graybeards to not be ignorant about your role.
It is also possible that it is only required for Dragonborn DLc's MQ, but not for side quests on Solstheim.

Maybe he needs to contact the All-Maker who is worshiped on Solstheim

Bristlebacks! Gon' hunt me some pigs!
I ready for some hog huntin' too!
None so far, but if you look at the image with the icons in the OP, there's a journal header for the 'Dragonborn' quests (Dragonborn is what appears so far to be the name for the DLC), and I kind of thought the symbols you can see might be Grahl, they look almost like elephants to me. That's just an observation though, so it could easily be wrong.
Hopefully, It's not Solsthiem without Grahl.

*Facepalm*
CoC had jack squat to do with it. You could start that DLC whenever you wanted.
Thing is, solstheim is the setting for a DLC CALLED Dragonborn. That's a much more direct connection

Who cares about dragons? What are those lines about broken items (near the bottom)? Or are they some kind of a leftover from Fallouts?

There's also one about increasing level and "isBeastRace." Hopefully we'll get some damned race recognition finally and not more "DO U HATE THE DARK ELVES TOO???"

Well, that blew the 'NPC or Draugr' theory out of the water.
Fingers crossed Bethesda handles them well. It'll be tricky, but they should be able to make it work.

Oh, that's totally right! Long day. But
Spoiler
You do have to get to the point in the main quest where you speak to Parthurnax to avoid breaking the main quest chain.

It seems this is the case but I hope they add dialouge where it's like I sense something it feels as if you are a fellow dov or something like that.
