Am I the only one concerned that with all this talk about the DLC dealing with Dragonborn? I will be upset if you have to become dragonborn to partake in the DLC. Bad enough you have to become dragonborn to do the cilvi war.
Ooh this is a good point aswell. Hadn't considered that.
Besides animal type, how different would they be from the Underworld-Wolf? If anything they would be stronger and that's about it. Bethesda really did screw themselves over by having the Werewolf instead of the Werebears. Like I said in that one thread about them. At least with the Werecrocodiles it only occurs to Argonians and it probably would be water based instead of land based. So it would be a unique from of Lcanthropy.
I agree, hence why I said perhaps they should be released "no matter how gimmicky." They don't neccesarily have to be functionally the same just because they're both wereforms, but somehow I doubt Beth would make them super different, either. I've said before I think they screwed that lore over just by implementing werewolves first, but if werebears are added in, at LEAST the lore is saved, yknow? Though yeah, obviously since Skyrim is supposed to be werebear capitol, it'd be really nice if they were actually unique and memorable in some way.
