How are action points determined? I heard Agility would be more valuable this time around, curious how.

Also, is it true Rad Child heals you at (x2 your level of radiation sickness)/second?

Agility directly bases Action Points
Agility/Action Points
1 68
2 71
3 74
4 77
5 80
6 83
7 86
8 89
9 92
10 95

The Rad Child description merely states "as you go through the increasingly devastating stages of radiation sickness, you will regenerate more and more health".

@erivit no section regarding console commands can be found, this is a general guide after all, intended for all platforms.
@ GhostDigga it gives no location on where you can find it.

OMG, silencer for the 12.7mm SMG? Thanks, zeroarmada, you just made my day!! Btw, just to confirm this one more time: one CAN get ALL the implants, but a base END of 9 is required? Please comment on this once more, thanks.

There's ranks within factions, yes. But concerning ranks that you can participate in, no. The closest thing to ranks would be your reputation with each faction.

Shotguns I would say are around the 3-4 STR range, skimming through all of the rifles, the only one that looks to go over 5 req STR is "This Machine". Everything else seems to be in the 3-5 range or lower.

Speaking of "This Machine" is that weapon the only M1 Garand style rifle in the game (We've seen an M1 Garand in Dev Diaries and things of that sort) or is "This Machine" actually a unique version of that M1 Garand we've been seeing in videos? (Sorry if the question is weird but its something that has been gnawing at me.) :tops:

Each implant requires that you have that base stat < 10, as well as having endurance. It doesn't state a fixed amount. For example a STR implant has the req: STR < 10 and End. Someone else already confirmed that you can get all implants I believe, but you just need to have some serious bank to accomplish it.

Also: I have heard of something called Skill Challenges. What are they; how do they work?

So you can't actually join factions? What does it say about the other small factions? I think they were kings, bombers, and ometra???

Well, from other sources, it seems END 1 is required for each implant (totaling 9 for each of the 9 implants). Anyway, thanks for the clarification! Like with some other users, i would appreciate if you would shed some light on 'This Machine.'

I have no pictures or any further description of it from what I can find skimming through, sorry.

Its based off of points, so you get points for every bad or good action done.

Good:
1 Neutral
2 Smiling Trouble Maker
3 Good Natured Rascal
4 Accepted
5 Liked
6 Idolized

and then there are also percentages (good, bad, neutral) for the factions that work in a similar manner.

Well I see a section about "Challenges" which seemed to be small side quests that have 50-100 XP gain. Some add perks.

Neutral:
1 Neutral
2 Soft-Hearted Devil
3 Dark Hero
4 Mixed
5 Unpredictable
6 Wild Child

Evil:
1 Neutral
2 Sneering Punk
3 Merciful Thing
4 Shunned
5 Hated
6 Vilified

Is Power Armor Training required? Do people wearing PA spawn early on in the game? It would be really helpful in hardcoe if I could get my hands on some PA early on.

Power Armor training is listed as a perk, so I would assume so.

You can't join small factions either.

Here's a list of the small factions
The Omertas, Followers of the Apocalypse, The Kings, The Van Graffs, Westide Cooperative, The Crimson Caravan Company, The Gun Runners, Boomers, Brotherhood of Steel, Goodsprings, Great Khans, Novac, Powder Gangers, Primm, Ghouls:Bright Brotherhood, Super Mutants, Super Mutants: Night Kin, Raider:Fiends, Raider; Greaser Gang, Jackal Gang, Scorpion Gang, Viper Gang, Wasterlanders:Prospectors and Scavengers

I'm out of time for now guys, sorry if I couldn't answer all of your questions. Hope I have at least gave you a little push when you start New Vegas.

Presumably, base 8, as long as you didn't wait on the Endurance implant for last.

I'll pop back on in a couple of hours. Have some schoolwork to get done before NV comes out. I'll pop on later tomorrow afternoon as well.
Leave some questions and I'll do my best to answer them when I get on.

Sunglasses +2 Per,Tinted Reading Glasses +2 per, Tortoiseshell Glasses +2 per,

I have a few follow-up questions now.

The glasses add +2 Perception without the Four Eyes perk, right? If I take Four Eyes and equip them, I get +3 Perception?

What is the best headgear that I can wear with a pair of glasses, and how does it compare to the best headgear that I can wear without them?

Where can I find the Remnants Power Armor?

if you get banned from a casino is it for permanentz? if so is there any way you can get back in?

and about the win limit, is it a number or a win %? and is there a cool-down period or is it a limit to how much you can win ever?

This guide seems to be missing from stuff. The mod list, for example, is definitely incomplete. There's more than one mod for each weapon, and it only lists one mod for guns we know there is more fore, like the Hunting Rifle.

I'm hoping there are more unique guns then were listed too.
