Let's kill Molag Bal !

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 1:01 pm

I'm surprised this thread is 9 pages already, beth isn't gonna let you off him unless they are removing him from the series most likely. Considering he generates this much talk this fast they might keep him unless they start getting nagged by people for having a Prince of [censored] and corruption in the game, or perhaps some kind of government regulation.

We dont want him gone forever, just punished. At least I dont. I hate him, but I gotta admit he's awesome. Not as awesome as Akatosh though. Getting rid of him would be really dumb.

Correct me if I'm wrong because I am not that experienced in the lore, but aren't the Daedric princes constantly in a state of competition with one another? And does not Boethiah in particular (the prince of plots, lies, etc) have a grudge to settle with Molag, the master of corruption? Theoretically I could see it being sold to the other Daedric princes (especially by the prince of plots of murder and lies) that if they helped the cause against Molag and at the very least found some way to drain or contain his power, and in return they would receive the souls which Molag could be collecting for his own. Less competition is always a plus when you're a Daedric prince harvesting souls for power and domination.

Doesn't he have antlers? Get them to either let you cut one off or have them do it in some book it can be used to make a new item to replace umbra, and probably add some story and lore to the game, plus look at what happend with umbra think of the fun with a whole antler thing from his head. =)

Edit: Just went and looked at a pic from oblivion shrine of him he has horns, decent sized ones at that. Get one of those cut off, should be fun having a piece of him causing trouble for himself. Could even have sheogorath help, he'd probably love it.

You do know that serana is a follower of molag bal and loves being a vampire right?

That's why she must die.

Padomay or Anu would be the most powerful, for the Aedra and Daedra all came from them. They are the void, the space in between, and their realms encompass everything and nothing.

P.S. You could use a elder scroll to send a Daedric Prince of god ahead in time until they reach the time period when the world is destroyed. This worked for Alduin who was the Nordic minor god of destruction

Boethiah doesn't prefer open combat, unless we are talking about Oblivion Boethiah. See? They seem to change frequently. We don't know the circumstances of how Boethiah defeated Trinimac

Lolwut? You do know that theres nothing Boethiah loves more then is a good fight, right? He is a warrior and this has been pointed out several times.

Personally I think bethesda aren't going to give rid of Molag Bal because he's the creater of the vampires and just a badass in one, I'd like to see an expansion where you go to his world and meet him, Like Shivering Isles with Sheograph... Malog, Dagon, Azura, and the other Dredra princes need to be met...

The amount of stupidity on the OP's part makes me facepalm so hard. Even after being told so many times, he still clings to his original idea, despite all the lore smacking against him, yelling NO, along with logic, and the arguments of some people with sense.

*Cough*

Cider, UrielNocturne, Werewolf&Vampire

He would just give you an offer you can't refuse, call it being bribed if you wish anyway you will need a army and a being of similar power to him in order to banish him much like Dagon in oblivion i assume.

The problem is you are entering HIS realm, the realm of a Daedra is an extension of their own being if not the Daedra themselves, you can't win if you entered the realm of a Daedra Lord because you are basically entering said Daedra Lord.

It's true that Vivec's power had probably diminished by Morrowind, nevertheless, if my character can beat Vivec, he's likely around the same par as a Daedric Prince, seeing as how not a SINGLE DAEDRIC LORD is on Michael Kirkbride's list.

MK did not specify what he meant in terms of power. I doubt he was referring to straight up combat. For with CHIM, Vehk can see that I ARE ALL WE, but even he can not change the wheel.

Direct combat with a Daedric lord, as you seem to refer to, will likely lead to demise. And possibly {NUMMIT}, depending on the prince.

...The Aedra can't leave mundus or aetherius, they have no power in a Daedra lord's realm, if they could actually do anything to the Daedra they would have A LONG time ago....

It's warhammer 40k all over again *sigh*

Except that the Chaos gods can be killed. :yuck:

OT: Does it count if we kill some mortal who has taken to naming himself Molag Bal? :bunny:

He was defeated, Daedra cant be killed, but Akatosh still obviously has more power. Like I said, just because he cant die, doesnt mean he's stronger. Also Karliah definitely didnt say they would be killed instantly. She said that if she were mad, they'd know it. Thats not the same thing as "killed instantly".

Kill him , or trap him in a soul gem which I will throw into Vvardenfell.

Or will use up his soul into some stupid enchanted sword...
His own mace maybe ? Hohohohoh..
That would just send his soul to the soul Cairn where he would...

Dude, WTF? That Amulet contains the spirit of Alessia, and was given to her from Akatosh after the Covenant of the Dragon Blood was made. Guy...

I'm not even gonna bother. Read the lore. As for the scroll, doubt anyone knows how to do that anymore. I dont like Molag, but killing him aint gonna happen. Ever. Unless Alduin comes back and eats everything, lolz. But you can piss him off, and weaken his influence on Tamriel. Thats about it. Whoever thinks that you can kill him...You're dumb. I love the Aedra, mainly Shor, Talos, and Akatosh, but the most they could do if they actually did anything is cast them back to Oblivion. Between Aedra and Daedra, its kind of a dumb argument, since the Daedra cant defeat the Aedra in Aetherius or Nirn, and the Aedra cant even get to Oblivion.

What three things? It isn't an Ayleid Soul Gem.
