Thank you! It's always wonderful to hear that from a guy. My friends and I loved Borderlands co-op too :)
Yeah great game. That was the first time I got my wife to play anything even approaching a shooter with me. She was awesome at it in like 5 mins! She is usually an rpg fan. We are both looking forward to Skyrim a lot.

No, I'm a Caucasian guy, but I know two girls who are excited for this game :)

Somewhat my point. If anyone online mentions they are a girl suddenly the entire male population (Well most of it) swoons down upon the supposed girl. I'd love to having a gaming girlfriend myself... but I'm not going to flirt with everyone online claiming to be a girl.

That's mostly my experience, but all I read about are complaints about how no one likes girls playing in their games. Maybe it's because I don't have a console.

I think you'd be surprised by how many women are gamers. It's not something we always like to bring attention to. From non-gamers we face the stigma of being a 'loser' or people think we're weird for liking such a traditionally male-dominated hobby - although, this is starting to fade as gaming becomes more common. Still, you'd be surprised at the looks mothers give me when I'm working at GameStop and I'm talking to their sons about video games. It's like they're checking me for abnormalities to explain why I like video games.

It's just as much fun when the boys behind the counter at my local Gamestop (they are always boys in my area, no men, women or girls for that matter) ask "Is this for you?" I bought Dead Space and the kid said "This is a gift, right?" My favorite, however was "Is this for your son?"

Yeah, I know what you mean, though on the other end of the whole thing of course. I might be flattered for the attention myself except it's often not the sort of attention I'm very comfortable with. <_<

Guh. Trust me. You don't need a console for that. Count yourself lucky, I guess.

The real question is: How many girls play the Elder Scrolls that are not fat? Any takers?

Asking if we're fat or hot, yeah, that's exactly why only 10% of the reported population on these forums is female. Who really wants to spend all their time with people who only think in terms of physical attractiveness and desirability when it comes to women? Call me a humorless [censored] if you want, but I, or any other gamer, shouldn't have to be harassed (even "jokingly") about our gender. Anywhere.

I'm a girl, and I love ES! I am so pumped for Skyrim. I pre-ordered it the moment I could. Sadly, I can't pick it up at midnight tomorrow, but I will be getting it on Friday at 5pm. My weekend will be spent on the couch for sure. :)

I'm at a loss for words

For the best, I assure you; words alone are insufficient to express such a revelation.

An intricate dance revolving around the ritualistic disembowelment of scores of Horkers, follow by a month long feast upon their entrails, dedicated in its entirety to Sanguine, is the only appropriate reaction to such information.

I suggest you avoid such festivities if you can, it pains me already to recall the stench.

My girlfriend will. She loves the "inappropriately murder everyone, fight all of the guards" aspect of the game.

Ah yes, because only fat girls are gamers. I was wondering how long it would take some guy to throw that stereotype out there.
