Lets See How Many Girls Who Like Skyrim

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 10:51 pm

I... Can't like to play Skyrim as it hasn't come out yet.
But I expect I'll like it.
But more so than Oblivion though, cause I don't like "that".

I also suppose I count for this thread despite not having Skyrim yet, at least since I have it preordered. As for the other topic of discussion, ah, well, I remember times and places when a woman admitting to as much was like popping one's head out of the trenches when there's snipers around, so there's been some improvement. Not as much as I'd like, though, from some of the things in this thread. <_<

(As for "girl", I'll take that, though I generally prefer "woman". Just not "lady", 'cause I ain't one of those. :P )

I think all those old gamer stereotypes are breaking down : women don't play games, games are just for kids, advlt gamers are all shut in nerds. These ideas are antiquated and were never true in the first place. My wife and i are both professionals, in our 30's and avid video game fans, especially rpgs. i think we clocked over 100 hours of borderlands split screen. There are definitely women out there who enjoy games and shouldn't have to put up with the the assumption that they don't do it well or be hit on for stating their gender online.

I haven't got Skyrim yet; so, I can't answer that.

I actually liked Morrowind better than Oblivion.

If all the skin tones are metallic-looking though, I think my hubby would prefer Skyrim for that but it would put me off.

Thank you! It's always wonderful to hear that from a guy. My friends and I loved Borderlands co-op too :)

My wife is female. Maybe I am too. She certainly loves TES games and will be picking up her copy on Friday.

I'm a proud PC girl gamer!

But as a PC, i'm offended.

I'm looking forward to Skyrim, but i'm not hyped at all about it.

Why does this thread do nothing but remind me how desperate some guys are for female interaction?

Somewhat my point. If anyone online mentions they are a girl suddenly the entire male population (Well most of it) swoons down upon the supposed girl. I'd love to having a gaming girlfriend myself... but I'm not going to flirt with everyone online claiming to be a girl.
