Find any old image and crop in in Irfanview or MS Paint, resize it, and then upload.

I added in the santa hat myself though, for the season. And you might want to learn a bit about .pngs and transparency too, which is why I like Irfanview since MS paint can't handle transparency. That way it looks nice and cut out instead of being forced to have a black/white background.

I got my first ones from the awesome http://shelltoontv.deviantart.com/gallery/30591766. I've been cropping all my latest ones myself from vectors in the http://mlp-vectorclub.deviantart.com/. I didn't download them all, but I have over 2,000 (vectors, not avatars) so if you have a request I'll see what I can do

I need to learn how to make my own, now that classes are over.

Google, edit in paint if needed.

Did a quick trace/outline of the unicorn stallion logo from Fluttershy's helmet from the Dragonshy episode. Some will grab quick screens and just shrink them while others will do some vector/outline work.

Okay, if I had a doubt about it before it is gone, I will buy the DVD for the unreleased episode, and to help out on the quest for a boxset

Ok, what? Unreleased episode? Why is this the first I'm hearing of it.

It's The Last Roundup. It's on the DVD but we haven't seen it air yet. That doesn't mean it won't air. So it's currently unreleased.

You haven't heard of "The Last Roundup"? I think that's what he's referring too. It comes with the boxset and we were trying to speculate on what the episode was two threads ago . I'm hoping it's an AJ centric episode.

I'm trying to make something ponyrelated using g-mod. We'll see how it turns out as the pony ragdolls are a [censored] to pose.
Well I'll still have the heavy weapons guy from tf2 wielding the party cannon and the pyro wearing Trixie's cape.

OK, so after tons of work g-mod crashed, guess I'll try again later.

Up for preorder now, releases Feb. 28th. There's a link to it on the Shout! website in the main post now under Useful Links, and you can get it cheaper at places like Amazon.

Are any of you people getting a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic figurine, doll, or playset for Christmas/Hannuka/Quanza/whatever else you celebrate?
Highly doubtful, though I did ask for a gift card to a fabric store, so I can sew up my own Trixie doll, and scarf if there's enough material left over.

So you are you gonna sew your own Trixie doll Hellmouth? You've been talking about it for a while and I would love hear updates on your progress once you begin!

That's the plan. Seeing has how ebay vendors charge a completely insane amount of money for them, and I don't expect much of anything for x-mas, I figure I'd do it. Not sure how it'll turn out, but I found a few pictures that may help me. I plan on starting after Christmas.

EDIT: I've only mentioned it once.

I've seen the prices for some of the dolls, and they are indeed insane. Good luck on your own doll once you begin. Hope it will turn out good!

Also, Do you have any sewing skills, or have you just decided to give it a go?

The fandom has made me want to get artistic or musical. I'm going to ask for an acoustic guitar for my birthday (in february).

I have sewn in the past, but usually it was make-shift costumes for Halloween, PJ pants, and an occasional repair. But this will be my more ambitious project. Shouldn't be THAT difficult, just need to draw up a plan, maybe buy a pattern, and follow the lines. Will mostly be using a machine to do it, not by hand.

I'll post pics of it when it's complete. Going to also try to make her wizard hat and cape too.

Sounds good! Excited to hear how it will turn out.

I've gotten the urge to start making pony-music. I've played guitar/piano for 7 years or so and would consider myself pretty educated in the art of music. I've also listened to enough pony-music to understand what I would have to make to be succesfull (hopefully), and enter the world of pony-artists. I'm tempted to start creating some pony-material, but I've got no clue yet.

Right now I'm to busy with waiting for Christmas and the next episode. I heard we'll have to wait for the 7th January? Guess I'll just rewatch some episodes on YouTube meanwhile.. I've also gotten the habit of watching through all those seconds-long clips from episodes uploaded by kyrospawn and other users uploading short episode scenes, and reading through all the comments etc.. I could watch them for hours lol without actually watching a full episode..

Make what you want, not what everyone else wants. If everyone made what everyone wanted, we'd have nothing but wubstep with pony samples. We've got enough of that already

I get what you mean. Wubstep with pony samples seem to be dominating at the moment anyway, and we've got enough of that I agree. You do occasionally stumble upon the artists who make good original music, and I hope to get into that category if I ever begin producing music. I didn't mean that I wanted to make music everyone wants (I know it sounded like it), I meant that I understood what kind of music that gets noticed. There are lots of cool styles like rainbowcrash's 8-Bit remakes, or the more common catchy tunes with samples etc.. And if they are clever or well made, they do get some recognition!

I'm still thinking about what kind of music I want to make myself, but it will definately not be dubstep..

On to something else: One of my favorite moments from last episode! I still laugh at it. :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04b58cPvPIQ&feature=related
Pinkie Pie did lots of strange things in this episode.. More than usual..

The fandom did get me to be creative and artistic with its content and I started to write a fan-fic but then I learned just how much time it takes to actually write something that you give a lot of thought to. Really since last Summer I've had like 2 days at most where I've had the day to myself and I haven't had to attend something like college or work or I haven't had to do some task for a family member or something of that sort. And those 2 days didn't go into writing but rather into relaxing and doing nothing that requires thought.

Anyone else started a project but found him or herself too busy to continue it properly ? I will finish my project in time but it's dragged on for like half a year now =.=
