General information-

My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. It's not what you think. This amazing little cartoon has captured the hearts of thousands, if not millions of people who together have formed an amazing fandom. A lot of people don't understand how peope can find happiness from something originally made as a childrens show for little girls, but that right there is where they get it wrong. The show was made for children and their parents, so that anyone in any age group would be able to enjoy it. Of course there'll always be the haters, in which case bronies, use the report button. That was our mistake in the last few threads. Don't feed the trolls, flag em and move on.

The misfortune is that the iTunes versions are really screwed up in terms of their color. PonyArchive used to have properly color corrected versions, like the one that airs on TV but in nice 720p/1080p resolution.

I don't like how they handled it either. Ponyarchive could have been classy and shown love and tolerance, but instead we got...well...that. Very disappointed in how they responded to Hasbro.

In other news: Yays I finally saw the Hearthwarming episode! Definately one of my favorite so far. Lacks the epic song that Winter Wrap Up was, but it made up for it with one of the best stories yet.

I also tried to edit my gifts in advance by going to toys'R'us today since I heard you could find pony gift wrap paper there but there was none to be found, and neither were there blind bag ponies despite there being some just earlier this month.

Think those are just selling up or do some Toys'R'us don't keep up with merchandise in some places ? Like I know they sell blind bags here so they are just out but perhaps they never ordered any gift wrap paper with a pony theme here.

Sadly there may not be a boxed set of the entire seasons since companies sell them individually. Even though we bronies are a large community the show is still marketed at kids meaning a smaller selling spot. However a person at the company that produces the DVDs indicated that they will consider making a box set if they see good sales numbers. The DVD box set would be more family oriented having DVD extras or atleast I assume so from that post.

Love to see Blu-Ray though that is not going to happen as a person with shout indicated.

In regards however to the ponyachive incident I would just like to say that it's times like this that makes me like our group here all the more for being so much less prone to overreaction and generally speaking more civil as well as understanding.
That is when compared to many people on Equestria daily and a number of people on a number of sites but such is the price of the vocal minority with a fandom of our size that I would consider to be the true dark side of the fandom. At least ponyachive did not have the sense to play the abused martyr otherwise things I imagine things would become much more divisive between a number of people.

Ya I saw that up on Equestria Daily and saw the screenshot of the people that made copy right claims against him one of them being "Adolf Bush". That name right there should have been a red flag to youtube that something was going on though i'm betting they don't care in the slightest. There are tons of copyrighted material up on youtube yet they go after the dumbest stuff because they themselves get trolled.

Having 15k gigs worth of bandwith on my site i'm dang well tempted to set something up for some of these bronies so they can get their works out there. This way the trolls have to deal with me and I can tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine.
