Well, it's time. They're finally here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXGUNvIFTQw There may be a time where we are broken and shattered, but it is not this day!

They might have exploded from the sheer amount of people signing on. Now I must vanish until tomorrow, when I will have the game. Perhaps even longer as I will be too busy playing.

Probably. I just got it to connect. Everything is verified. Now I just have to wait until tomorrow to play it.

HOW TO BE A HAPPIER PERSON

Step 1: Open game case.
Step 2: Remove game cover.
Step 3: Flip game cover.
Step 4: Replace game cover in flipped position.
Step 5: ????
Step 6: Profit.

Still two days for me... I decided to just wait for my Collectors' Edition. That is two days plus any shipping required, but this is a small country so I expect to get it on the 8th or at least 9th.

Futureshop is Canadian I believe. So I'm guaranteed a delivery near me. Not more than a few hours flight from one of their central warehouses. My email said 4:15 too, but it was likely on the plane slightly before then when it was updated as shipping. So 95% chance it will be here in the morning.

I preordered the CE last year. It should ship tomorrow, so it will be at least 3-5 days out for me.

On a side note...I will be up and running with a new rig by the weekend. Moving from console to PC, I have ME and ME2 with all the DLC, is there anywhere I can get or download ME and ME2 with all the DLC in one pack for the games?
Do I have to find and purchase them separate?
Is all the DLC offered to the console even available to PC?

Well, it seems that there are a lot of reports that the character import does not recognize the physical traits of your ME2 Shep. People are having to restructure their Sheps. That sux.

You're supposed to be able to use a code, specific to your ME2 character, to rebuild him/her exactly, physically, in ME3...

There are no codes to use on the console.

This is slightly worrying. (No spoilers)

http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/03/06/mass-effect-3-war-assets-and-readiness-how-multiplayer-affects-your-ending/

So if you want to go back to the game in 10 years you'll have a hard time getting the optimal ending if the multiplayer is dead.

I'm not obsessed with getting the optimal ending though. What's the point in choices and consequences if you're just going to retry until you get it 'right' or use a wiki to look up the best choices?

Never did that with the ME2 Suicide Mission either.

That does seem rather dirty. But after playing through these games like FO and TES I have grown to be a Non Completionist in one playthrough. I play these several times and do not go for the optimum playthrough anymore. I play now with a "what ever happens happens" perspective. It does rub me wrong that they would stoop to that, but it will not effect my gameplay. I won't let it. But it will way heavy on future purchases after this series is over.

Dropping the ball on DA2 and now this is heartbreaking. I'm all but done with them.

Nicely summed up in a quarter of a line.
The defences for multiplayer being near as makes no difference to essential in a previously single player (and imo a very good) franchise will however run to essay length, I assume.

Thats....pretty damn annoying. Particularly considering my normal team of players for other games probably won't buy ME3, are on Steam not Origin and I don't like playing with just random folk. :(
